Pezeshkian's Key Remarks on Energy Imbalance: From Electricity to Gasoline
The president spoke about the difficulty of simultaneously managing the energy imbalance, maintaining public satisfaction, and sustaining production.
President of the country, Masoud Bizikian, said: "My priority as an official is to make sure that the wheel of production does not stop. We are facing many problems in the society. I say in the government that we have problems in all existing issues and we want to solve them; From gasoline, electricity and gas to housing, payment mechanism and health per capita. We have problems in all these areas and we want to correct them.
I now have to think about what to do for the winter so that the gas needed by the people for heating and providing energy is provided. Anyone who claims to be able to help, come. It is better for the government to cut off its own electricity and pay for it, than for the factories to stop moving.
The President continued: We managed the consumption of electricity, gasoline, and diesel so that the resulting resources can be used to compensate for existing imbalances. We formed a government that has four million people instead of one million personnel. what to do Can they be fired? Is such a thing possible at all? How to manage this situation is a fundamental debate.
It is very simple for a person to sit next to a well and write prescriptions, but managing a hospital or a macro system requires common thinking, achieving a common language and vision, and fair distribution, and this requires empathy, companionship, and consensus.
I believe that we should solve all these problems based on science and knowledge, while these problems cannot be solved so easily, but we are solving them. We reduced electricity consumption by five percent; Whereas before, it increased by 6% every year.
We have also kept the consumption of gasoline at a balanced level for the time being and have not allowed it to increase, and measures are underway to reduce its consumption.
We also managed diesel consumption. We were supposed to buy twelve billion dollars of gasoline, but so far we have only bought two or three billion dollars.
If we look at each of these areas, our consumption is three to four times that of European countries. It is not so easy to manage these conditions in such a way that things are corrected, dissatisfaction does not arise, and the enemy does not abuse.
They have closed our way and even if we have money, we cannot buy gasoline. However, cars are driving on the streets and they are consuming gas.
