Ripped jeans with an unexpected detail

At first glance, the jeans from Tom Ford's new collection may seem like worn-out pants that are about to be replaced. The fabric around the back pockets is intentionally torn and frayed, and blue underwear with white lines can be seen through the cracks. However, this appearance is not the result of long-term wear, but is part of the design of the costumes for stage performances.

Haider Ackermann, Tom Ford's brand director, presented the fashion house's spring-summer 2027 collection on September 30 in Paris. Among the leather suits, transparent dresses and covers with open cuts, distressed jeans were one of the most different choices of the collection. The fashion magazine 10 Magazine also paid attention to these pants and the visibility of the underwear from the back pockets.
