Sardar Rouhani: Public Unity Is the Key to the Lasting Authority of the Islamic Revolution

Bojnourd – Deputy Commander of the Hazrat Javad al-A'imeh IRGC Corps in North Khorasan stressed the role of public unity and solidarity, calling it the main factor behind the authority and endurance of the Islamic Revolution.

According to the report of Mehr Sardar Mohammad Rouhani, on Tuesday morning, during the honoring and induction ceremony of the commander of Basij Raz and Jarglan resistance area, referring to the verses of the Holy Quran, he said: In Surah Mubaraka Nisa, God has clearly emphasized on the return of trusts to their owners and fair judgment between people, and these teachings are among the most important commands of God to His servants.

Referring to a memory attributed to Ayatollah Mousavi Ardabili about one of Imam Khomeini's (RA) meetings with high-ranking officials of the country, he emphasized the necessity of guarding the path of the Islamic Revolution and maintaining commitment to its ideals.

Sardar Rouhani stated that unity and solidarity play a decisive role in the country's passing through difficult situations, and added: "Various experiences have shown that wherever people have been present on the scene with cohesion and empathy, the ground has been laid for maintaining the authority of the country and dealing with threats."

The deputy commander of Hazrat Jawadalaimeh (AS) North Khorasan also pointed to the developments in the region and the conditions in Yemen, and emphasized the need to examine the role of the people in political and field developments and considered the people's cooperation with the currents they support as one of the effective factors in stability and resistance.

In another part of his speech, referring to the coexistence of ethnic groups and followers of different religions in North Khorasan, he described Raz and Jarglan region as a valuable example of convergence and unity between Shiites and Sunnis and said: The peaceful coexistence of ethnic groups and religions in this region is an important capacity to strengthen social solidarity and maintain peace and security.

Sardar Rouhani pointed out the Quranic motto "Wa'atsimua bihabal-e-Allah-e-Jami'a wa-la-tafarraqwa" and noted: Holding on to the divine thread and avoiding division is one of the most important strategies to maintain the unity and cohesion of the society, and this principle should be taken into consideration in all fields.

Emphasizing the importance of unity in sensitive regional conditions, he said: Unity and empathy of the people are the main components of strength and victory against pressures and threats, and maintaining this social capital is considered a universal responsibility.
