Ambassador Arjan-Cultural Group: British filmmaker Jonathan Glazer described Israel's retaliation against the makers of the NAZA documentary and the military figures interviewed in the acclaimed documentary as "far worse" than expected.
"The Guardian" wrote: After the release of this film, Israel has condemned it and prosecuted the people involved in it, and announced plans to strip citizenship from those who "discredit" the soldiers of the Zionist regime, and accused "Yuval Abraham" and "Rachel Zor", the directors of the "NAZA" film, of treason, and asked senior legal and security officials to find and prosecute the soldiers and officers interviewed in this documentary for causing "damage to diplomatic and security interests." Israel" has ordered.
Glazer, who is the film's executive producer, told The Guardian editor-in-chief Catherine Weiner at the UK premiere of NAZA in London on Thursday that he was "speech-struck" when he first saw NAZA.
Asked if he was surprised by Israel's strong reaction to the documentary, Glazer said that some of it was to be expected, but "in my view, it was much lower" than expected.
The film includes 24 interviews with Israeli military personnel who reveal the systems used to target Hamas forces with the knowledge that large numbers of Palestinian civilians would also be killed.
