Khanzadeh: I Want to Become the World's Best Player
Iran's national volleyball player, motivated to make up for a previous setback in Italy, seeks to shine with Cuneo and reach the playoffs.
According to Arjan's ambassador, Pouria Hossein Khanzadeh, the recipient of Iran's national volleyball team, after a not so successful experience in the Lobe Civitanova team, has returned to the Italian league once again to show off his abilities this time with the "Aqua Sant'Anna Cuneo" shirt.
This Iranian national team player, who arrived in the Piedmont region of Italy about a week ago, after a stressful summer and participating in national competitions, has appeared among the Cuneo players with high motivation.
Khanzadeh said about his personal and team goals: My dream was to play in Italy. I had this opportunity last year, but I couldn't show my abilities. Now I want to do it with Cuneo, get good results and make the fans and the people of the city happy.
Referring to his ambitions, he further stated: My goal is to become the best player in the world one day; But right now the most important thing is to help Cuneo try to reach the playoffs. We know that the Italian league is very competitive, but we must fight against all teams without fear.
The recipient of Iran's national volleyball team also said about his enthusiasm to play against Kuneo fans: I heard that Kuneo fans are very passionate. I am looking forward to playing against them, showing my abilities and feeling their support.
Returning to Italy is another opportunity for Khanzadeh to consolidate his position in one of the most competitive club volleyball leagues in the world after leaving Lube Civitanova.
