Apple's obsolete products have recently been updated with the addition of three other old devices and have brought important changes in the field of providing after-sales services and supplying parts to the owners of these gadgets.
According to Apple's official policy, devices that have been discontinued for more than seven years are classified as obsolete hardware. Following this decision, official stores and authorized service centers will no longer receive spare parts and the servicing process will be stopped. However, under certain conditions, Mac owners can still receive battery replacement services, if available, for up to ten years after the end of supply.
