Meeting with the mayor of Hamedan/emphasis on holding the festival with quality
In a meeting with Seyyed Masoud Hosseini, the mayor of Hamedan, Marzieh Broumand addressed her concerns regarding the theater and children's festival.
Referring to the role of municipalities in holding festivals, Broumand said: "Everywhere in the world, festivals are the credit of cities. The credit of the children's and youth theater festival should be increased every year, and it is a pity that this credit is reduced. Some may say what is the purpose of this festival in the current situation; My point is that by the way, it is necessary to emphasize the quality and its holding during this period. We should try to make the festival have a wider reflection."
He mentioned the municipality as a supporter of the festival and said: "By playing the role of host and landlord in this event, the municipality can take important steps."
The director of the festival said: "Theater halls in this city do not need money, but they need compassion and effort."
He continued: "I would like to bring children from the surrounding areas of Hamedan to see the works of the festival in the city of Hamedan so that a wider group can watch the works."
Atabek Naderi, Director General of Performing Arts, said: "I have been working in the theater for more than 40 years, and during this time, we have had a festival in Tehran, which is known as the city, and the other festival is Hamadan Festival." In these years, efforts were made to remove the festival from Hamedan. Sometimes this happened temporarily, but the important thing is that we are witnessing the 30th edition of the festival in Hamedan. Everyone should know that the Hamadan Children and Youth Festival is an investment for the future of the country's theater."
Naderi said: "We hold this festival in any possible way and consider it our duty. We should see holding this event as a duty due to our national and patriotism."
Hosseini said in this meeting: "In our country, culture is the foundation and the continuity of culture depends on the economy; Therefore, we must have turnover. More than 20 sessions of the children's and youth theater festival have been held in Hamedan, and simply holding one more session is not considered a performance for us, but in this session, we have the issue of economicization of culture on the agenda and we are working on this issue. Fortunately, during this period, the governorate has full support in the process of holding the festival. We have made arrangements so that different devices can be used."
He said: "We have talked with cultural heritage to organize tourism tours for children and teenagers, and we will evaluate the results of this plan by measuring the amount of accommodation in hotels. The center for the intellectual development of children and teenagers, the governorate, international exhibitions and other institutions have undertaken a part of the work. "Different institutions have entered the field so that we can attract as many people as possible for the festival."
The mayor of Hamadan emphasized: "When art is central, good things happen around it, and this festival is also dynamic."
The meeting of the secretary of the festival with the general director of culture and Islamic guidance of Hamedan province/ moving towards a fresh festival
A meeting was held between Marzieh Broumand, the secretary of the 30th Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival, with Seyyed Mohammad Reza Javadi, the General Director of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan Province and the members of the festival organizing staff.
At the beginning of this meeting, Broumand emphasized his interest in Iran and said: "It is very important to use celebrations and festivals with the aim of filling the gaps and conveying peace to the people. In this period of the festival, we are moving forward with the approach of creating an atmosphere of joy and happiness for children. We have passed a strange year; Therefore, the fact that the children of the theater have produced work in these conditions is very important and we hope that the atmosphere of the festival will move towards freshness."
He emphasized: "The joyous procession in the festival, the initial idea of which was proposed by me years ago in the puppet festival, has found its place among the people, and we must create the necessary capacity to expand social vitality."
Broumand emphasized that in the opening ceremony of the festival, in addition to keeping alive the memory of Minab children, happy programs are also planned for the children present at the ceremony. He added: "We must remember that we are a nation that stands together and we must be cheerful."
The secretary of the 60th Children's and Youth Theater Festival continued his words as follows: "To hold a festival like the Children's and Youth Theater Festival, we need the cooperation and support of various groups. "Hamadan is one of the few provinces that has many theaters, and the theaters are equipped under the pretext of holding a festival."
Broumand pointed to the issue of synergy between organizations and reminded that cultural heritage and tourism can play an important role in the field of cultural tourism and shaping it in the children and youth theater festival.
The meeting continued with the speeches of Seyyed Mohammad Reza Javadi.
About the formation of the festival in Hamadan, he said: "Hamedan is the designer of the children's and youth theater festival." This festival was held provincially, nationally and internationally and has reached today.
He added: "The organizers of the festival, Hamadani artists and artists from other provinces, try to organize this festival as best as possible every year. "A major part of the affairs related to the festival is done in coordination with different collections of the province."
Javadi emphasized: "The existing infrastructures in Hamedan province are more suitable compared to many other provinces. Various cultural programs, concerts and performances held in Hamadan show the high capacity of this province."
Collaborating with Hamedan children and youth theater artists with the festival secretary and general director of performing arts
A meeting of Hamedan children and youth theater artists was held with the presence of Marzieh Broumand, festival secretary, Atabek Naderi, Director General of Performing Arts, and Seyed Mohammad Reza Javadi, Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan Province.
In this meeting, the present artists presented their views on holding the children and youth theater festival. The topics of interest of these artists were: the need to advance the research department in addition to holding the theater festival; The importance of the presence of foreign professional groups in the festival; Emphasis on detailed planning about the festival; Taking advantage of the opinions of the members of the theater association in the policies of the festival; Allocation of theater for minor theater; Enumerating the differences of this period of the festival compared to previous periods; coordination of two executive teams of the festival in Hamadan and Tehran; Making it possible for people with disabilities to use the festival and selecting the works of artists with disabilities to participate in the festival; Investigating the conflict between economic space in art theater and commercial theater; Determining a place for the children of different cities in order to use the opportunity of the children's and youth theater festival and to cultivate young forces in the field of children's and youth theater.
After listening to the words of the artists present at the meeting, Atabek Naderi pointed to the festival and said: "Where there is talk of the festival, there is interaction and dialogue." When we close the dialogue, the war begins. A good theater must also have a good backstage. This is achieved when the actor and the director trust each other. We need this trust and companionship."
Referring to his background in the affairs of performing arts provinces, he said: "I have a deep-rooted interest in theater and provincial artists. We don't write scripts for Shahristan theaters, because Iranian theater doesn't need to write scripts. My request to artists is to trust each other. We have had memories of Ms. Broumand's works for many years and now that she has taken over the responsibility of the festival's secretary, we trust her. Mrs. Broumand is a cultural flow maker.
Naderi said about the international part of the festival: "It has been said for years about the international part of the festival that the problem boils down to two issues: education and budget. While this look was distracting us. "The main issue is international interaction and the economic issue."
He reminded that these days, due to the war conditions in the country, the presence of foreign groups has changed from the past.
"We need structure to thrive in theatre," said the director general of performing arts. We have to consider a structure for the theater and with this view, determine a suitable budget for it. This year, we should all work in the jihadi festival and keep in mind that we are all hosting the children of Iran.
Broumand began his speech in this meeting as follows: "In the past year, the mental, financial and economic condition of the people has gotten worse, not better. Considering these conditions, I don't think the quality of the works will be much different compared to the previous period."
