A meteorology expert, citing the dangers of humidity, said: Rain showers and rising ambient humidity create favorable conditions for fungal growth; farmers should carefully inspect plant health once the rainfall ends.

Referring to the dangers of air humidity, a meteorologist said: rainstorms and increased environmental humidity are suitable conditions for the growth of mushrooms; Farmers should carefully check the health status of plants after the end of rain.

According to the forecast of weather conditions and rainfall systems in the coming days, the agricultural meteorology expert provided important recommendations for the protection of crops and garden crops and the prevention of possible damages.

Referring to the forecasts for the next 4 days and the possibility of rain in some parts of the country, Gholami said: Farmers in the areas where rain is predicted are advised to delay the surface irrigation of the fields in order to prevent soil saturation and suffocation of plant roots.

He added: Due to the possibility of heavy rain, farmers should make sure that the drainage channels and water outlets of the fields are open in order to prevent flooding of the land and damage to sensitive crops.

This agricultural meteorology expert also warned about areas affected by strong winds and dust and said: In areas where we are faced with strong winds and dust, if the crops are vulnerable to the wind, it is necessary to use wind deflectors and use guardians for young and newly planted trees. Because strong winds can cause branches to break and fruit to fall.

He clarified about the management of spraying in unstable weather conditions: farmers are advised to refrain from spraying poisons during strong winds and rains in order to prevent the wastage of inputs as well as prevent damage to the plant.

He further pointed to the dangers of increasing air humidity and emphasized: rain showers and increased environmental humidity provide very suitable conditions for the growth of fungi and soil-borne diseases; Therefore, it is necessary for farmers to carefully check the health status of plants after the rains.

In the end, Gholami emphasized: Sudden changes in weather and rising dust can cause the movement and transmission of pests and diseases through airborne particles. For this reason, continuous monitoring of pests and diseases, focusing on drainage control in critical areas, creating shelters against wind and soil, especially in the eastern and southern regions of the country, should be prioritized in the programs of the operators.
