Changan UNI-K Receives Type Approval from Pars Khodro / Technical Specs and Features of the Imported Crossover

The 2025 Changan UNI-K has received its final type approval certificate, bringing it one step closer to launch in the Iranian market.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Pars Khodro has received the type approval certificate for Changan UNI-K model 2025. This imported crossover with a 2-liter turbocharged engine, 233 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission has passed the necessary legal procedures.

Changan UNI-K final type approval certificate with model code SC6493ABA6 and CCC conformity certificate has been issued. In the official documents, Pars Khodro is introduced as the importer and Changan International as the manufacturer. The validity of this certificate is until January 1, 1405. This car is in the M1 class, it supports the Euro 6 emission standard, and its carbon dioxide emission rating is G.

This crossover is equipped with a 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with code JL486ZQ5 and a volume of 1998 cc. Its turbocharged engine produces a maximum of 233 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 390 Nm of torque at 1,900 rpm. Engine power is transmitted to the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The weight of the car is 1900 kg and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h reaches 8.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 km/h and the combined fuel consumption according to the type approval documents is 8 liters per 100 km; In some technical information, the figure of 8.4 liters is also mentioned. 70 liter fuel tank accompanies this set.

Changan UNI-K is known for its modern design, large frameless grille, T-shaped daytime running lights, hidden door handles and 21-inch wheels. At the rear, there is a sloping roof, connected lights and four exhaust outlets.

The length of this car is 4865, its width is 1948 and its height is 1690 mm. The wheelbase of 2890 mm provides the cabin space for five people, and the volume of the trunk reaches 518 liters. In the interior, separate and stepped screens, a large central console and a combination of black and maroon colors are used for the dashboard and seats.

This car is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes, EBD electronic brake force distribution, BA auxiliary brake, ESP stability control, TCS traction control and hill and descent control systems. Tire pressure monitoring and blind spot warning are also included in its safety equipment list; However, the lack of some advanced ADAS driver assistance systems is one of the limitations raised for this car.

UNI-K amenities include adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensor, keyless entry and start, cabin lighting with 64 colors, panoramic roof, light and rain sensor, electric trunk and electric seats equipped with memory and heating. Audio system and central touch screen are also considered for this crossover.

Changan was previously present in the Iranian market with the assembled CS35 model, and in the new period of import, models such as CS35 plus and CS55 plus were also offered. UNI-K is placed higher than UNI-T in the product family of this brand, and upon receiving the final approval, it will be present in the luxury and medium crossover market as one of Pars Khodro's high-end imported products.
