Some Cultural Institutions' Adult-Centric View of Children Must Change

Director General of the Kermanshah Province Children and Young Adults Intellectual Development Center, stressing the need to change the adult-centric approach some cultural institutions take toward childhood, said adults have already passed the main period of their socialization and character formation, while the core of personality, creativity, thinking, and self-esteem is built in early childhood. Therefore, specialized and targeted investment in children's world is a fundamental necessity for building Iran's future.

The Director General of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents of Kermanshah province, emphasizing the need to change the adult-oriented view of some cultural institutions towards children, said: Adults have passed the main period of their education and personality formation, while the main form of human personality, creativity, thinking and self-esteem is laid in the first years of childhood, therefore, specialized and targeted investment in the world of children is a fundamental necessity for building the future of Islamic Iran.
