Tajarnia: Esteghlal to file complaint against clubs causing disruption

Mashhad – Esteghlal CEO said: If Esteghlal continues to face disruptions after the appeals committee's ruling, we will pursue the matter through the Football Federation's ethics committee and other legal channels.

Mashhad - The CEO of Esteghlal said: If Esteghlal is marginalized again after the appeal committee's decision, we will pursue the matter through the Ethics Committee of the Federation and other legal channels.

According to Ambassador Arjan Ali Taghernia, sharply criticizing the marginalization of some clubs regarding the contract of Yasir Asani, emphasized that there is no problem with this player's contract and Esteghlal will use its legal capacities to pursue the issue if these behaviors continue. He also explained about the possibility of continuing the Esteghlal team in Mashhad and the details of the trip to Qatar.

Referring to the approval of Yasser Asani's contract by the disciplinary committee and appeal committee of the Football Federation, he said: "Unfortunately, from time to time, when a team gets results and is at peace, they create margins for it." In my opinion, those who constantly raise these issues do not think about the national interests of the country.

Referring to Esteghlal's performance in the Asian Elite League, Tajernia said: Today Esteghlal defends the reputation of Iranian football. In a situation where we have not had good results in the Omid team, the national team and some clubs, Esteghlal has been at the top of the table along with the giants of Asia and teams with several hundred billion investments. But inside the country, they create a margin for this team.

Emphasizing that there is no problem with an easy contract, he added: FIFA and AFC upper rules always emphasize the relationship between the player and his club. Asani is one of the most loyal players to Esteghlal. Some Asian clubs respect professional issues despite the political differences between the countries, but inside the country we see different behaviors.

The CEO of Esteghlal asked the Football Federation to announce the result of the inquiry related to this case as soon as possible and end the controversy. He also warned: If after the decision of the appeals committee, independence is still marginalised, we will pursue the matter through the Ethics Committee of the Federation and other legal channels. We also have documents about the negotiations of some clubs with Easi when he had a contract with Esteghlal.

At the end of this part of his speech, Tajernia emphasized: This is my last warning to the teams who, when they cannot get results on the field and do not have a place in Asia, seek to weaken Esteghlal by marginalization. Our fans can rest assured that there is no problem in terms of easy contract.
