The manager of Dohuk football club in Iraq responded to rumors that Yahya Golmohammadi will leave and take over as coach of Iran's U-23 team.

According to "Varzesh Se", the opening of talks between the officials of the Football Federation and Yahya Golmohammadi, the head coach of Iran's Dohok Iraq, to accept the leadership of the Omid team, has created many rumors and speculations. Although it was said that Golmohammadi had reached an agreement with the federation officials, he is still present in Dohok's training and continues his work in Iraq.

At the same time, the directors of the Iraqi Dohuk club have repeatedly denied the issue of Golmohammadi's departure and want to keep their proud head coach.

Jassim Haji, the manager of the Dohok football team, said in an interview with the Iraqi TV channel "Al-Rabi'a Al-Riyazia" in this regard: "I deny the rumor of Mr. Golmohammadi's agreement with Iran's Omid team. Ishan continues his work in the Dohuk team and is permanent."

In response to the issue that Golmohammadi can be transferred to the national teams by paying a fee according to the clause of his contract, the manager of the Dohok football team said: "There is no clause in Yahya's contract that allows him to leave the Dohok team without the prior approval of the club management if he receives an offer to lead one of Iran's national teams. »

In the end, Jassim Haji added: "Golmohammadi has a contract with Dohuk until the end of this season, and the club's management is considering extending his contract for another season."
