The Role of Saints and Spiritual Mentors in Awakening and the Rebirth of Humanity
Markazi – A specialized session and lecture titled “Commentary and Interpretation of Rumi’s Masnavi,” focusing on the role of saints and spiritual mentors in awakening and the rebirth of humanity, with an interdisciplinary approach spanning ethics, comparative mysticism, psychology, and philosophy, was held in Arak with the participation of Morteza Latifi, professor of Persian language and literature.
According to the reporter of Iran's Ambassador Arjan (Ambassador Arjan) in Arak, Morteza Latifi, professor of Persian language and literature and teacher of Masnavi Malawi mysticism, in this meeting explained the concept of "Esrafil Waqt" and its connection with the symbol of the Virgin Mary's life, and discussed the role of parents and spiritual guides in the awakening and revival of human beings.
Referring to verse 1930 of the first book of the Masnavi and the story of Pir Changi, he said: Maulvi calls parents and spiritual and moral teachers "Esrafil of time"; Those who break the slumber of man with the call and song of truth and call the society to a new life and a new experience of living.
He stated: In his intellectual-mystical system, the importance of parents and teachers born from truth and God is not only in the fact that they only speak about the truth or teach new knowledge to others, but in the fact that their presence, words and way of life are such that they save people from death and hiding in the self-hewn graves of habit, blind imitation, fame, lust, illusion, self-deception, etc. Sleeping and dead, wake them up and guide them to a more conscious, free and responsible life.
Latifi pointed out that Maulavi's imagery and visualization in the Masnavi is very deep, beautiful and epistemological, and said: Dead souls are inside the grave of the body - their voice is inside the shroud.
This professor of Persian language and literature noted: We know that in terms of etymology, the words "hayat" and "hiya" both come from the root "hai" meaning alive. I think that the choice of these two concepts is from the same root, on the part of Maulavi, who is very conscious and comes from his epistemological point of view.
He added: In Maulvi's view and reading, "giving life and giving life" is the work of those who have the song of God in their throats, and "modesty" can also be seen as the equivalent of life in the bodies of people in the society.
He continued: In other words, in the eyes of a great mystic like Maulvi, life and modesty mean the awakening and reviving of the conscience or becoming sensitive to the moral dignity of oneself and others. A person who reaches a life of knowledge can no longer remain indifferent to the suffering of others. He not only sees more, but also becomes more responsible for what he sees.
With another look, he said: Molvi has a two-sided view of "Maryam". In his mystical reading, "Holy Mary" is both the mother of Jesus in Surah Shura and the Prophets, in the Quran and the Bible, and its symbolic meaning, that is, a pure and virgin soul and a virgin ready to give birth to a person. A person who can hear the call of truth in his collar or entrance window, becomes pregnant with truth.
Latifi continued: We see this two-sided view of Mary later in the views or sermons of "Meister Eckhart", a medieval Christian mystic and theologian. From his point of view, the story of Mary is not just a historical narrative about the birth of Jesus Christ. In his thought, virginity is other than bodily chastity, the purity of the human soul and away from the captivity of attachments, selfishness and limiting ideas and inhibiting dependencies.
This professor of Persian language and literature emphasized: Maulvi explains in verses 1936 to 1942 of the Masnavi book and in the story of Pir Chengi that such a reborn person will have the tongue, eyes, senses and the pleasure of God. He can hear with him, see with him, and not at all the owner of secrets, to become a secret according to the words of his teacher.
Central - a specialized meeting and lecture "Explanation and interpretation of Maulavi's Masnavi" with the focus on the role of parents and spiritual teachers in the awakening and rebirth of man and with an interdisciplinary approach to ethics, comparative mysticism, psychology and philosophy, was held in Arak with the presence of Morteza Latifi, professor of Persian language and literature.
Undoubtedly, the Middle East can violate the rules of genetic science. How to tell suffering people that you are related? Blood relationship! Your blood is of the same color. It doesn't matter where he is from! Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan... you are all of the same blood. No genetic test can prove to me that the one who was executed in a field in Lahore, the one who lost his leg in Iraq, the one who took his own life in Aleppo, or those whose pieces were hanged on the wall in Kabul during the bombing, are not my brothers and sisters!!!

"Doctor Zhivago" by Boris Pasternak and its film adaptation directed by David Lane are among the most significant examples of the connection of literature, history and cinema in the 20th century. This work, beyond a romantic narrative in the context of the Russian Revolution, reflects a fundamental question, the fate of the individual and personal morality in a world overshadowed by history and ideology.
Ali Nikoyi wrote: Susyant is not a static concept in the history of Zoroastrian thought, what sometimes has a broader meaning and is close to "beneficial" and "helpful", in the later Avesta it becomes closer to an apocalyptic figure and in the Pahlavi tradition, in connection with Susyans and Farshgerd, it finds a more final form. Creation is tied; But the resurrection is not the end of this path either, the return of man from death is only one of the stages of the process that connects the fate of man with the fate of the whole creation.

"Blind Owl" is not one of those books that you can just read and then close and put away. Some novels stay in the mind after they are finished because they told a good story or created a memorable character. But the owl remains blind in a different way. This book settles something in the reader, something like air, taste, darkness, and a kind of vague familiarity with a wound that may have been in the person before, but it didn't have a name.

Aref Masoudi said: Basically, the key point of Bragg's methodology, which is very attractive to me, is his critical stance against stereotyped, convenient and simplistic narratives. In a way, he is de-ideologising the philosophical field. In his narrative, Bragg is exactly in the middle of these two legends (the legend of the absolute dark age against the legend of the absolute golden age).
