Cheram - Imam Juma Cheram said: Any new military adventure can have wide consequences for the security of the region and the global economy.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Noorullah Afshar in his Friday prayer sermons on the 24th of Mehr month Cheram, referring to regional and international developments, warned against the possibility of intensification of tensions and the formation of new crises in the region.

Criticizing the policies of Donald Trump and the Zionist regime, he said: In a situation where the United States is facing political and media challenges, it is possible that war-seeking currents seek to create a new crisis and achieve political gains by inciting and escalating tensions.

Imam Juma Cheram emphasized the preparedness of the Islamic Republic of Iran against threats and added: any new military adventure can have wide consequences in the region and expand the scope of confrontation to different areas.

Referring to the role of regional actors in the developments of West Asia, Hojjatul Islam Afshar clarified: the security equations of the region are no longer determined solely based on the calculations of great powers, and regional actors play an important role in shaping the future of developments.

He also pointed to the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab in world trade and energy transfer and noted that any disturbance in the security of these vital crossings can have significant consequences for the energy market and the global economy.

Imam Juma Cheram emphasized: The importance of these strategic crossings in the global equation of energy and trade has turned the security developments of the region into an issue beyond the borders of West Asia.
