The resilience of the medical staff during war, corona and other difficult conditions is a manifestation of the sense of duty and sacrifice. Doctors and nurses stay by their side in situations where people's lives are in danger and try to save people's lives. Of course, this sacrifice should not make us limit the appreciation of this group only to the days of crisis.

Hazrat Zainab's birthday and Nurse's Day are an opportunity to remember the sacrifice of those who stay by people's side in difficult times and critical situations and try to save their lives. Nurses and doctors are among these groups whose responsibility becomes more important in times of war and crisis. It is really the duty of all of us to be patient with any job, for the sake of God and people; But some professions are more sensitive, such as police, doctors and nurses.

These people are naturally prepared for such situations. Anyone who enters the medical or nursing profession knows what responsibilities their professional life entails. However, this does not prevent us from being grateful to them.

In the sacred defense and the 8-year war with Iraq, until the war had happened, we did not know who was ready to sacrifice to what extent. When the war started, we saw some people preparing themselves for martyrdom. Values show themselves more at certain times and may be less visible at other times.

The same is true for doctors and nurses. This sacrifice is not only related to war. The corona disease that we faced 3-4 years ago was not the least bit like a war. The enemy is seen in war, but we did not see the corona virus; However, it was killing people like autumn leaves. We told people not to leave the house, not to call and not to go to crowded places, but doctors and nurses went to the worst places infected with the virus; Where the sickest patients were present. Some of them were preserved and some were martyred.

In war, people expect more from medical staff because they want to save their lives and be supported. Even warriors who go to the front with the knowledge of the risk of martyrdom, if they are injured, they expect to be treated quickly so that they can return to the front again.

Therefore, behind the scenes is incredibly important in terms of medicine and nursing; Both for the morale of warriors and ordinary people and to save their lives. The lives of these people are extremely valuable. Those who take their lives in the palm of their hands in these struggles are special people, and the dedication of the medical staff becomes more apparent in such situations.

During the American attacks, doctors and nurses were at work and doing rescue work. For example, nurses would go through the window to save small, premature babies that had just been born. This is not a small task.

Of course, people are sometimes worried that they may not have the necessary resilience when performing their duties. God brings these exams and happy are those who come out of this exam proud. Some people may not be able to bear such conditions due to various reasons, even mental illness; But what we saw in the 8-year war, the corona era and the recent attacks was the dedication of the medical staff.

The problem is that over time, we forget. Our gratitude usually increases when something goes wrong. The sacrifice of doctors and nurses in the days of war and crisis reminds us of the responsibility they bear. They stay with people in the most difficult situations. Our duty is not to limit our appreciation to them in times of crisis and to recognize the value of their work in normal days as well.
