Completing the Malekshahi–Ilam Four-Lane Highway Is a Key Public Demand

ILAM – The Deputy for Development Coordination at the Ilam Governorate said: Completing the Malekshahi–Ilam four-lane highway is a key public demand in Malekshahi County.

According to Mehr reporter, Reza Darabi said on Wednesday evening in the coordination meeting of the implementation of the four-lane project of the Malekshahi-Ilam road in the presence of the director general of road construction and development in the western and central regions of the country: after the realization and completion of the Malekshahi hospital and water treatment plant projects, the implementation of the four-lane plan of this road is one of the main demands of the people of the city, and the government is determined to increase traffic safety by completing it as soon as possible and reduce the occurrence of accidents, casualties and financial losses.

Emphasizing the necessity of building a standard road in accordance with technical standards, he added: The duty of the government is to create safe and standard infrastructure in the most optimal conditions possible, and in this direction, the cooperation of people and contractors is particularly important.

The Deputy Coordinator of Civil Affairs of Ilam Governorate also said about the legal rights of the property owners located on the project route: After verifying the ownership, conducting four inquiries and determining the road boundary with the opinion of the project consultant, the demands of the owners will be paid based on the daily price and in compliance with the rules and regulations related to the road boundary.

Referring to the limitations of the allocation of credits in war conditions, Darabi emphasized the necessity of cooperation and mutual understanding of all parties and added: the government considers itself obliged to pay the legal rights of the people and at the same time, to advance the implementation process of this public benefit and strategic project at a faster pace.
