Enhancing Professional Skills of Tourist Guides in Kermanshah with the Presence of the Head of the National Federation of Tourist Guide Associations

The acting head of the Kermanshah Provincial Office of Cultural Heritage said that the Kermanshah Provincial Office of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts held the specialized training course "Tour Management and Crisis Management Techniques" with the aim of enhancing the specialized knowledge, technical skills, and preparedness of professionals in this field to face crisis conditions, with the presence of the head of the National Federation of Professional Tourist Guide Associations.

The head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Kermanshah Province said: The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah Province, with the aim of improving the level of specialized knowledge, technical skills and readiness of activists in this field in facing crisis situations, organized a specialized training course on "Tourism Techniques and Crisis Management" with the presence of the president of the professional associations of tourism guides of the whole country.

According to the report of Aria Heritage reporter, Kyomarth Azami on Wednesday, October 22, emphasizing the necessity of empowering and updating the professional knowledge of tourism industry activists of the province, stated that tourist guides, as cultural ambassadors and the frontline of communication with tourists, play a key role in properly introducing the historical and natural attractions of the province, as well as guiding the trips safely.

The head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah province added: Considering the importance of improving the safety factor, service quality and maximum preparedness in facing special and critical conditions in group trips, holding specialized courses with national and international standards is on the serious agenda of this General Directorate.

He pointed out: This intensive training course was held in the amphitheater hall of the General Directorate with the large presence of tourism guides of the province.

The training of this course was conducted by the international lecturer of the World Federation of Tourist Guides and the head of the professional associations of tourist guides of the whole country, in which the participants were taught the latest new methods of tour guiding, effective communication techniques, management of possible crises in travel and the principles of group safety.
