Netflix operates the historic Paris Theater in New York and owns the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. It has opened movies theatrically, and created buzz with some, such as the Knives Out franchise, or Frankenstein, which lasted well beyond their theatrical release. Usually the footprint is limited, Intel's short and official box office window is zero.

Netflix lost its bid to buy Warner Bros. earlier this year, a move that fueled industry speculation about the broadcaster's show plans. Most recently, the changes this week saw 1,000 job cuts and the departure of chief content officer Bella Bajaria as the company looks to increase engagement and grow in an increasingly competitive landscape.

A24 secretly financed the real-life project four years ago, and it originated in the San Diego home of biotech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes, just before she entered the federal prison in Bryan, Texas. Holmes gave the directors unlimited access to the home he shared with his partner and two young children, and eventually invited the filmmakers to live with them.
A Stanford dropout and founder of biotech startup Theranos has been charged with fraud for lying about his company's technology and financial health. The company claimed to have revolutionized blood testing with a proprietary device that could perform dozens of comprehensive medical tests from a single drop of blood obtained with a simple finger prick. He always insisted that he had done nothing wrong, including in a circular conversation with Fielder in the film. He was found guilty in early 2022 after a public trial in a court in Northern California, and reported in May 2023 that he was serving a 10-year sentence.
A24 approaches the film more as a genre-shifting cultural phenomenon than a traditional documentary, with runtime sets more akin to live event concert films like Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, and BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – Live. A recent documentary, Melania, made about $7 million in 1,700 theaters.
Alamo Drafthouse said You Can See Everything has achieved the highest advance sales of any A24 title and any documentary in the circuit's history with tickets sold. It is currently Alamo's #2 pre-order title behind Avengers: Doomsday.
