Mohajerani: Vehicle Imports Halted

The government spokesperson, responding to a question from Safir Arjan about the follow-up on the Iranian pilots case, announced that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are pursuing the matter, and the Qatari government has also given favorable assurances and has consistently expressed readiness to cooperate in clarifying their status.

According to Arjan's ambassador, Fatemeh Mohajerani today (Tuesday, October 21) in her press conference held at the Tax Affairs Organization, while explaining the recent plans of the president, referred to the visit of Masoud Mezikian to Turkmenistan and stated: the presence and speech of the president at the Summit of the Heads of Independent Commonwealth of Interests as a special guest, bilateral meetings with the heads of the countries and the Caspian border countries, as well as the follow-up of common issues, including environmental issues, were part of the plans of this trip.

Government spokesperson: Due to the special conditions of the country, the allocation of currency to all non-priority matters has been stopped based on the order of the president.

The import of all kinds of cars, including vans and other special cars for hoteliers or Iranians abroad, has been temporarily suspended.

Currently, all the power and foreign exchange resources of the government are focused on providing basic goods, medicine and vital needs to maintain the dynamics of the country's economy, and this foreign exchange policy is being followed seriously.

The beginning of the academic year of universities with the approach of solving the country's problems

Referring to the official start of the new academic year at Shahid Beheshti University, the government spokesperson said: Yesterday we witnessed the official start of the academic year with the presence of the president at Shahid Beheshti University. This university was chosen to hold this ceremony because of its scientific position and being among the first tier universities of the country, as well as the attacks that took place on it during these days and the significant number of martyrs of this university.

Mohajerani added: The president is going to hold a scientific meeting with university presidents and faculty members so that the capacity of universities is used more than in the past in solving the major problems of the country.

The spokesperson of the government stated that the approach of the universities should be problem-oriented and said: the fields of water, energy, environment and industry and other important issues of the country can be formed in the form of different working groups and the cooperation of universities to solve the country's problems will be provided. Cooperation in the field of water had already started and this path can be developed in other fields.

Commemoration of martyrs of Minab at the beginning of the academic year

Referring to another part of the ceremony of the beginning of the academic year at Shahid Beheshti University, Mohajerani said: This ceremony began with the memory of the martyrs of Minab, and the students' backpacks and benches that were placed in this ceremony were once again a reminder of the oppression of the students who were deprived of their childhood.

Opening of the first children's cancer diagnosis and treatment center

The government spokesperson also announced the opening of the first children's cancer diagnosis and treatment center and said: This center was opened in the presence of the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Mohammad Reza Zafarkandi.

Emphasizing that the year 1404 was not a normal year, he added: This year was not even similar to a normal year and nothing was similar to normal conditions. However, the patient and honorable staff of the health system, especially the nurses, stood up to work during all the hard days and performed their duties properly.

Martyrdom of 52 medical personnel in two wars of 1404

Referring to the martyrdom of health forces during the 12-day war and the Ramadan war, Mohajerani said: In total, 52 people from the medical staff, including doctors, nurses, Red Crescent and emergency forces, were martyred during the two wars of 1404.

The Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs are monitoring the situation of Iranian pilots in Qatar

In response to a question about the follow-up of the issue of Iranian pilots during the visit of the Minister of Interior to Qatar, which was supposed to be followed up with the presence of a technical delegation in the future, the government spokesperson announced: The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are following up on this issue, and the Qatari government has also given a favorable promise and has always declared its readiness to cooperate in order to clarify their situation.

The government spokesperson expressed hope that the status of Iranian pilots will be fully determined as soon as possible.
