Acting Defense Minister: The Enemy Has No Understanding of Iranian Civilization
Referring to the foolish statements of American officials about Iran and Iranian civilization, Ibn al-Reza said: Those who today speak with a spiteful, resentment-filled rhetoric about Iran and our nation's civilizational identity either do not know history or, through a flawed and incomplete understanding of strategic concepts, are in effect playing with fire. Such an understanding is a grave error and a very dangerous miscalculation.
Acting Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces, emphasizing the necessity of comprehensive preparation against enemy threats, said: The experience of regional developments and the recent statements of some American officials show that the protection of the security, independence and territorial integrity of the country requires continuous strengthening of the defense power and continuous support of the armed forces.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ibn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces, in the gathering of the heads of some industrial organizations of the Ministry of Defense, referring to the historical and civilizational position of Iran, stated: The nation of Iran has a deep-rooted and historical civilization, and the history of this land in science, culture, thought and governance is far beyond the lifetime of many contemporary governments and political structures. However, what matters today is not simply relying on the glorious past; Rather, relying on our scientific, industrial and defense power, we must protect the historical heritage of the country and the right of the Iranian nation to determine its own destiny independently.
Referring to the unwise statements of American officials about Iran and Iranian civilization, he said: Those who today speak with hateful and complex literature about Iran and the civilizational identity of our nation, either do not know history or have a wrong and incomplete understanding of strategic concepts, they are actually playing with fire. This understanding of matters of great error and calculation is very dangerous.
Acting Minister of Defense added: Iran's civilization is not a product of today and yesterday, which was damaged or ignored with a few spiteful and ignorant comments. Iran is a land with deep historical roots and an undeniable contribution to the scientific, cultural and intellectual heritage of humanity. Those who approach this identity from a position of seeking superiority and spreading hatred, first of all reveal their ignorance of the history and complexities of the world and their own origin.
Sardar Ibn al-Reza clarified: More dangerous than the courage of the enemy is the attempt to turn historical and cultural differences into a basis for political and military confrontation in the world. Civilization confrontation is playing with fire; A fire whose initiators cannot set boundaries for its expansion and end and limit its consequences to others only. History has shown time and time again that powers that enter such arenas with presumptions of superiority end up facing realities for which they had no room in their initial calculations.
He continued: It should be clearly said to these people who speak with the literature of civilizational confrontation that Iran has not borrowed its identity from anyone, nor does it need anyone's permission to preserve it, nor will threats and humiliation replace its nation's right to determine its own destiny. If they think that they can force the Iranian nation to retreat with a civilizational invasion, they have not properly understood the history of Iran and the will of this nation. Of course, all this is due to their desperation and failure.
The Acting Minister of Defense emphasized: The responsibility for the dangerous consequences of fueling the civilizational confrontation is also on those who consciously choose such a path. Those who light the fire of civilizational confrontation should not think that its flames will never reach their own lap. They should not expect that the security screens will be moved and they will be safe from its consequences such as disappearing into the original civilizations.
Sardar Ibn al-Reza added: Iran's response to this approach is a combination of historical recognition, national self-confidence, scientific and industrial progress, and comprehensive defense preparation. We do not seek to prove our civilization by humiliating or provoking others, and we do not allow others to talk to us with superiority literature. Our position is clear: mutual respect, the independence of nations, and avoiding threats and imposing will and dealing decisively with the aggressor.
In the end, he pointed out: defending Iran is defending a land with a deep-rooted history and identity and the right of a nation to build its future. Therefore, strengthening the scientific, industrial and defense power of the country is not a temporary choice; It is a strategic necessity. We know our history, we defend our interests and national security, and we will be ready to face any threat. Our message is clear: Iran's civilization cannot be humiliated and threatened, the will of the Iranian nation cannot be defeated by threats, and the fire of civilizational confrontation cannot be ignited and expected to never catch fire. Those who light the fire of civilizational confrontation should not think that its flames will never reach their own lap.
