Minab has the capacity to become an "agricultural hub" in the south of the country

A member of the Parliament's Agriculture Commission said: Minab, having fertile soil, suitable water and access to the sea, has the ability to become the "agricultural hub" of the region in the south of the country in the shortest possible time.

According to Mehr reporter, Peyman Fashifi said on Friday evening on the sidelines of his trip to Minab: "The blood of the oppressed martyrs of Minab will surely become the main cause of this heinous crime, and the enemies will be punished for their actions in the court of divine justice and the judgment of the righteous people of the world."

Modification of agricultural electricity tariffs and the need to return extra money

In another part of the meeting, the member of the Parliament's Agriculture Commission stated, referring to the reports presented about electricity tariffs, that according to the notification of the resolution of the Council of Ministers in July 1405 (dated May 22 and July 31, 1405 by the first vice president), the tariff increase and step-by-step assistance for the price of electricity for agricultural subscribers were determined and the electricity company was not allowed to receive money in excess of this resolution.

He emphasized: All recent bills and consumption rates in different tariff tiers (A, B, and C) should be corrected and if agriculture has paid an additional amount since the date of the notification, it should be included and settled in his credit account in the coming months.

Philosopher asked the officials of the Ministry of Energy and the Electricity Company to implement this legal resolution throughout the country, especially in Minab, without the need for additional working groups.

Also, he demanded to manage the power outage of agricultural wells during off-peak hours so as not to damage the crops.

Nakhilat development using a plan to plant one billion seedlings

Referring to the high potential of Minab city in the field of dates and palm trees, Philosopher said: With the coordination with the country's natural resources and watershed management organization, the capacity of the "one billion saplings" project can be used as a pilot in Minab, so that by receiving the quota of native seedlings of the region and optimizing water consumption, the restoration and development of palm trees can be done more quickly.

Removing the infrastructural obstacles of fishing towns and providing roads between farms

Referring to his visit to the country's largest fishing town in Khuzestan yesterday, the member of the parliament's agriculture commission considered the problem of the "road between farms" to be one of the main concerns of fishing complexes and added: the dirtiness of these roads greatly increases production and transportation costs.

He clarified: Iran's fisheries and provincial sources should provide the necessary funds for asphalting and improving the roads between the farms of the fishing complexes, and the necessary follow-up for the approval of the 1406 budget will be done at the national level.

Minab can become the agricultural hub of the south of the country

Emphasizing that the development of conversion industries and completion of the value chain in dates, citrus fruits and fisheries should be accelerated with the presence of domestic and foreign investors, Philosopher stated: If agriculture is the focus of the development of Minab city, we will get 27.5 rials return on investment for every rial invested.
