Annual Production of Over 1,700 Tons of Aquatic Products in Semnan Province

The head of Fisheries and Aquatic Affairs at the Semnan Provincial Jihad-e Agriculture Organization said that the province’s production of edible aquatic products has exceeded 1,700 tons, and growth in cold-water fish production is expected to exceed 5 percent this year.

The Director of Fisheries and Aquatic Affairs of the Agricultural Jihad Organization of Semnan province said: The amount of edible aquatic production in the province has been more than 1,700 tons, and it is expected that the growth of cold water fish production will be more than 5% this year.
