East Azerbaijan Residents Urged to Donate Blood

Tabriz - East Azerbaijan Blood Transfusion Organization called for public participation in blood donation, stressing the need for citizens to help sustain the blood reserves patients require.

Tabriz- General Administration of Blood Transfusion of East Azarbaijan called for people's participation in donating blood and emphasized the necessity of citizens' participation in maintaining stable blood reserves needed by patients.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the East Azerbaijan Blood Transfusion Department on Wednesday invited the altruistic people of East Azerbaijan to join the spiritual and humanitarian campaign of donating blood and donating life and announced: Dear fellow provinces are invited to visit the blood transfusion centers in the coming days to keep the blood reserves stable, so that by donating a part of their blood, they will help the medical centers in providing vital drops for the patients in the hospitals.

Currently, there is a need for all blood groups and there is a constant need for blood and blood products, and among them, thalassemia patients, cancer patients, accident victims, and patients who need surgery are the major consumers of blood.
