Lawmaker: Alborz Does Not Have Enough Representatives in Parliament

A lawmaker for Karaj, Fardis and Eshtehard told Parliament that allocating only three representatives to Alborz Province, with a population of over four million and with its many cities and towns, in no way meets the needs and demands of the region's people.

The representative of the people of Karaj, Fardis and Eshthard in the Islamic Council said: Allocating only three representatives for Alborz province with a population of over four million people and the extent of its cities and towns does not meet the needs and demands of the people of the region.
