Retreat in Current Sensitive Conditions Is a Blueprint for Iran's Destruction and Disintegration

Tehran City Council Deputy Chairman, sharply criticizing those who speak of a 'tactical retreat' or 'shifting the view from threat to opportunity,' stressed: The enemy has targeted the country's independence and territorial integrity, and a prescription of surrender and concessions will only bring more pressure and war on the people.

The vice-chairman of the Tehran Islamic Council strongly criticized those who talk about "tactical retreat" or "changing the view from threat to opportunity", and emphasized: the enemy is targeting the country's independence and territorial integrity, and the version of surrender and concessions will only bring more pressure and war for the people.

According to Ambassador Arjan, during the 438th session of the Islamic Council of Tehran, Parviz Sarvari called the statements of some political figures regarding the withdrawal as surprising and regrettable, referring to the sensitive conditions of the country and being in the middle of an "existential war".

Saying that "Iran did not initiate the war and is in a position of power today", Sarvari said to the currents critical of the country's defense policies: "Gentlemen who talk about tactical retreat today, where exactly do they stand?" "Retreating at this historical moment means signing the document of destruction and disintegration of the country."

The bitter lessons of the JCPOA and the experience of Libya

Recalling the JCPOA experience, the vice-chairman of the Tehran City Council called the previous governments' performance in the negotiations "selling promises" and added: "You gave many concessions and crossed the red lines, but the result was nothing but imposing more pressure. The enemy has shown his intention many times and his goal is to destroy the defense power of this country."

Referring to the fate of Libya and trust in America, he stated: "When the enemy sees you weak, he will attack, and if you are strong, peace and security will be brought." When Libya tried to disarm under the pretext of friendship, it was stabbed by the same enemy and was shot down.

Alluding to some political figures, including Mohammad Javad Zarif and Hossein Marashi, Sarvari called them "opportunists" and emphasized: "Why are you clearing the way for the enemy by falsely contrasting the field and diplomacy in the battlegrounds of national authority? "Promoting a view that sees peace as dependent on bowing down to the enemy is reminiscent of the whitewashing of the disgraceful contracts of history like Turkmanchai."

He continued: "Today Iran has become an invincible superpower in the region due to wise guidance. "The greatest component of strength and survival in today's world is the power of deterrence, not humiliating submission."

At the end of his speech, the vice-chairman of the city council emphasized that the preservation of the country is achieved by standing up and relying on national honor, and noted: "Keep this version of humiliation and submission to yourself. Islamic Iran is our red line and we will never bow down to the cunning enemy. "Victory is only from God and standing is the only way to preserve this border."
