Sadegh Ziaian, head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks of Iran Meteorological Organization, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, explaining the latest forecast of the country's weather situation, announced the occurrence of rainstorms, thunder and temporary strong winds in some provinces and said: In the next five days, strong winds and sometimes rising dust are expected in the eastern regions of the country.

He added: Today (Thursday, 23 October) in some areas of West Azarbaijan, East Azarbaijan, the eastern highlands of Alborz and Tehran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, south of Isfahan, the northern half of Fars and Kerman and north of Hormozgan, there will be an increase in clouds, torrential rain, thunder and temporary strong wind in some hours. Also, in prone areas, the rise of dust is not far from expected.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks stated: On Friday (October 24) and Saturday (October 25), cloudy weather, light showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northwest of the country and the central Zagros and Alborz highlands.

He continued: On Sunday (October 26), scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, will continue in the northwest, west, Alborz heights, Zagros slopes and heights, northern Fars, southern half of Kerman, some areas of Hormozgan and parts of the central regions of the country.

Ziaian stated: In the next five days, strong winds and dust rising are expected in the eastern regions of the country.

He also said about the atmospheric condition of the capital: Today (October 23), the sky in Tehran will be slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, and in some hours, an increase in clouds and light winds are expected. He continued: Today and tomorrow, due to the absence of significant wind, there is a possibility of a relative decrease in air quality in the central and southern areas of Tehran.

Ziaian stated: On Friday afternoon, in the southern half and western areas of Tehran province, moderate to relatively strong winds are expected in some hours. Also, in the southern and western borders of the province, there is a possibility of temporary dust, and in the highlands, there will be relatively strong to strong winds. These conditions lead to a relative improvement of air quality in the capital.

He said: On Friday (October 24), a relative increase in temperature is expected, especially in the southern half and central areas of Tehran province. From Saturday night (October 25) with the gradual penetration of a rain system, the increase in clouds will begin, and on Sunday (October 27), scattered showers are expected in the northern areas of Tehran province.
