You sow discord, level accusations, act against the Leader's views, and then call it revolutionary zeal.

Unfortunately, social media is flooded with messages that claim to follow the Leader while attacking officials of the three branches and some former political figures with harsh, vulgar labels. Rather than offering well-reasoned, ethics-based debate, these messages target people's reputations with grave accusations.

Unfortunately, we see a lot of messages in the cyberspace claiming to follow the leadership of the officials of the three powers and some political officials of the past and using harsh and ridiculous expressions! instead of reasoned criticism and dialogue based on ethics, they target people's reputation by making heavy accusations.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, the Islamic Republic newspaper wrote: The publication of such messages is worthy of consideration in several ways:

First, it is unethical to accuse. Disagreeing with our political opinions and views is neither a reason for people's security dependence nor a license to accuse them. Slander and slander, even if it is against our intellectual and political opponents, is still unethical behavior. You cannot violate moral principles in the name of defending the revolution and the system and then call this behavior revolutionary.

If someone has documents about an individual's political or security affiliation, the way to deal with it is to submit the documents to legal and competent authorities, including the Ministry of Information, the IRGC Intelligence Organization, or the judiciary; Not publishing unproven accusations in virtual groups and destroying the dignity of individuals. People's honor should not be sacrificed to suspicions and political differences.

Second, this behavior is in conflict with the explicit emphasis of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution on national unity. In a message, he considered protecting national unity and avoiding political differences as examples of piety and emphasized that even justified differences should not turn into conflicts and divisions. They have also warned that the enemy is seeking to create division and social disintegration after military failures.

Now the question is: Does destroying the character of those who disagree with us help national unity or does it exactly weaken it? Is it possible to talk about obeying the leadership on the one hand, and on the other hand, contrary to their advice, fuel differences and fan the flames of hatred and cynicism? It is one of the wonders of the times that sometimes those who claim to follow the leadership, do behaviors that are not compatible with their clear recommendations about piety, unity and avoiding division. Provincialism cannot be proven with slogans alone.

The third is ignoring the current sensitive situation of the country. When the country is facing foreign threats, economic pressures and propaganda war, sea and air blockade, maintaining social cohesion is doubly important. This statement does not mean shutting down criticism and ignoring mistakes, but it means that criticism should be responsible, documented and in the service of improving things, not a means to accuse others and widen social gaps. Fourth, it is a threat to the security and dignity of citizens.

The prevalence of accusations in the cyber space disturbs the psychological and social security of people. When every disagreement can lead to accusations of dependency and betrayal, the result is nothing but the spread of fear, self-censorship, and mistrust. A society in which people are afraid to express their views will neither achieve true unity nor benefit from the capacity of criticism and thought. Of course, no position should be an excuse for immunity from criticism, just as no disagreement is a license to defame and accuse. Defending the system and leadership is not the same as destroying opponents and critics.

It is possible that by claiming to defend, someone actually harms the credibility of the thing that he claims to protect. Let's make a difference between criticism and destruction, disagreement and accusation and defense of values and abuse in the name of values. If we are really concerned about Islam, the revolution and the pride of Iran, we should be more careful about our language, pen and behavior than others.
