Persepolis Star Winger Returns
Danial Eiri rejoined Persepolis' group training ahead of the match against Khaybar Khorramabad.
According to "Varzesh Se", the last practice of Persepolis before the trip to Khorramabad was accompanied by the return of Daniyal Eiri. The young defender, who was away from team training in the past few days due to injury, trained this morning on Azadi field number three with his teammates to be one step closer to returning to the competition.
Iri was injured while accompanying Iran's Omid team in the Nagoya Asian Games and in the team's last match. After his return to Iran, medical examinations and imaging revealed that the muscles of the hip and groin area of this player were stretched, and for this reason, a treatment and physiotherapy program was considered for him.
This injury caused Iri to miss the match against Sanat Naft Abadan. Persepolis did not have Mohammad Hossein Kanaanizadegan in the match and played with the absence of two central defenders. According to these conditions, Iri's return to training can be promising news for Mehdi Tartar and provide him with more options in the following matches.
After today's light training, the Reds will go to Khorramabad on a chartered flight as scheduled to face Khyber in the delayed match of the seventh week tomorrow. The return of the Persepolis convoy to Tehran is also planned for after this match.
