Military personnel from the UK, Poland, France and Germany will practice troop redeployment and logistical support.
London, October 17. /TASS/. At least 1,500 military personnel from Britain, Poland, France and Germany will take part in the first Coalition of the Will exercise in November, The Times reported, citing sources.
These maneuvers, held in Poland, are presented as a practice for deployment in Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire. Participants will practice troop redeployment and logistical support.
The Coalition of Enthusiasts, founded in spring 2025, is an informal association of more than 30 countries, mostly European, aimed at helping Ukraine. In the framework of the coalition led by Britain and France, security guarantees for Ukraine, including the deployment of military forces after the end of the conflict, are being developed.
Russia opposes the presence of NATO military personnel in Ukraine. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that it is unacceptable for Russia to guarantee Ukraine's security through "foreign military intervention in part of Ukrainian territory."
