Minister of Economy Breaks the Country's Back / Decisions on War and Peace Are Not for Parliament / Let's Not Hack at the Country's Roots in Wartime
Rouhollah Lak-Ali-Abadi, emphasizing the need to preserve national unity in wartime conditions, criticized the conversion of political disputes into media conflicts and said: Impeachment of ministers must be pursued based on the country's priorities, especially its economic problems.
According to Ambassador Arjan, in a situation where the country is facing a series of political, economic and security challenges, the way different forces interact, the limits of parliament's supervision over the government, the prioritization of impeachments and how to manage diplomatic cases are among the issues that are of interest to the public. In the meantime, maintaining internal cohesion and avoiding turning political differences into erosive confrontations is one of the topics on which MPs also raise different views.
Ruhollah Lak Aliabadi, the representative of Durood and Azna people in the Islamic Council, in a detailed interview with the parliamentary reporter of Ambassador Arjan, while emphasizing the necessity of supporting the government in war conditions, emphasized the point that supporting the government does not mean ignoring its weaknesses and problems. Referring to the economic situation, the performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the manner of holding parliament meetings and the subject of negotiations, he explained his views on the parliament's supervisory priorities and the necessity of coordination between the field and diplomacy.

the necessity of national unity in war conditions; Criticism of turning political differences into confrontation
Ambassador Arjan: You recently criticized the weakening of the government and plans such as the inadequacy of the president. In your opinion, where exactly is the line between the right to monitor the parliament and destroy the government?
The point that I raised in my recent speech in the parliament was that, unfortunately, today we are in a situation of war and crisis. According to the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council; Sardar Mohsen Rezaei, we are in the most critical time possible, and this interpretation really fits the current conditions of the country.
During nearly half a century of the Islamic Republic, we have gone through eight years of sacred defense, economic wars, proxy wars and other heavy events. But today we are facing a situation where the martyrdom of our leader has dealt a heavy blow to the country and people. Although martyrdom was his wish, his loss is an irreparable loss for the people and the country. However, the path of the revolution continues and the name and path of the martyred leader is still alive.
My argument is that when we say that the situation today is critical, we must accept this fact. In such a situation, what is important and we must insist on it is to follow the order of the martyred leader and obey the command of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. That is, we must create a sacred union and national unity. If we don't have unity, you can be sure that we will face problems against the foreign enemy.
What caused Iran to stand still in the 12-day war and the 40-day war and dealt a blow to the Zionist regime and America was the unity and cohesion that was formed inside the country contrary to the imagination of the attacking countries. The enemies thought that they could create division with an attack, but they did not know that the more Iranians are under pressure, the more cohesive and united they become.
The people who are present in the field despite all the problems and spend their lives to defend the revolution, the homeland and the blood of the martyrs, deserve to strengthen the national unity in the country. It is not the right of these people that some people, due to political differences or party interests, divide the country and kill each other in such a critical situation.
The issue of the inadequacy of the president is also one of the topics that should be looked at in this context. Today, we have a president who has been approved by the martyred leader and the Supreme Leader. We visited the Martyr Leader at least eight times, and in these meetings, they emphasized on supporting the President. His text and statements are also available. In the last article that I saw on the Revolutionary Leader's page, it was mentioned about the services of the servant government. These cases show that the government as a whole has been approved.
Of course, do we criticize the government? yes Does the government have problems? yes Is the economic situation weak? yes Do we question the government? yes Is impeachment possible? yes All these tools are within the scope of the parliament's duties; But to want to weaken or destroy the entire government in wartime is wrong in my opinion.
competition to be seen in the virtual space; A threat to national interests
Ambassador Arjan: Recently, we have seen that some political differences between the parliament and the government quickly turn into a media fight and are widely reflected in social networks. What is the reason for this? Are some looking for more visibility, or does this issue have other technical and political reasons?
Unfortunately, one of the inappropriate things that happen today in this intangible space called virtual space is the competition to be seen. When you have a product or merchandise, you advertise to sell it and try to get your product seen; But when national interests, national security and the whole of the country are at stake, we can no longer act with the same logic.
I really don't understand the behavior of some people who are just looking to be seen and increase followers. Sometimes I feel that some people are still in childhood. This issue is dangerous for the country.
Our country needs collective wisdom today. We should all help form an alliance in which people of different colors, tendencies, views, ages and trades stand together and support the country.
I am not going to defend a certain political faction and I believe that this issue is not limited to one faction. Anyone, from any political stream, who undermines national unity, is in effect aiding a foreign enemy. The enemy's most important hope is to create division inside the country.
The people of Iran have shown that they have reached a level of maturity and strength in the face of the enemy's missiles, airplanes and media war, that they will not simply retreat. People bravely stood up for the country and even gave their lives in this way.
Sometimes it is said that people are trying to protect the country, but some officials move towards weakening it with their actions. In my opinion, some people who make comments in the media and cyberspace are looking to collect followers more than they are looking to convey the truth to people.
For example, it is possible that I did not vote for Mr. Al-Badzikian in the election, and it is not even clear whether I will vote for him in the next election or not; But this does not prevent me from supporting the government in the current situation. When the supreme leader of the revolution emphasized the necessity of supporting the president, why should we not support the government at this time?
Why should we ax the country's roots with our own hands in war conditions?
Why should we ax the country's roots with our own hands in war conditions? My advice to everyone is to strive for unity and move in the direction emphasized by the Supreme Leader.
Qalibaf's explanation about why the public forum of the Majlis was not held
Ambassador Arjan: Public meetings of the Islamic Council were stopped on two occasions, especially because of the war imposed on the country. Recently, meetings are held in virtual space and in the form of webinars. Do you agree with this method and has the parliament been able to perform its supervisory task with the same quality as before?
We raised this question in the meeting that was held in the shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hosni (AS). I think there were more than 250 delegates. One of the most important questions of the representatives to Mr. Qalibaf was about holding public meetings of the parliament.
They showed a letter and explained from it that after the martyrdom of the martyred leader on the 9th of March and the outbreak of the war, and then the cessation of hostilities and the establishment of a ceasefire, they have continued to hold parliament meetings since April. Mr. Qalibaf had requested from the Supreme National Security Council that according to the existing conditions, permission to hold public meetings would be issued; But until that meeting, the necessary permission had not been issued. Now, with the acceptance of the mechanism by the Supreme National Security Council, the ground for holding public meetings has been provided.
The second point is that even during the period when the open floor of the parliament was not held, it did not mean that the duties of the representatives were closed. Many places were closed and public meetings were suspended, but representatives were actively present in their constituencies. Also, the supervisory duties were followed up in the ministries.
Today, one of the topics discussed in the country and in the media is the impeachment of some ministers. If the parliament did not fulfill its duties, how would these processes be followed?
The activities of the parliament had not been completely stopped, but the way of holding meetings had changed. A part of the representatives worked in person and another part, according to the considerations announced by the Supreme National Security Council, participated in a webinar. Legislative and regulatory duties were also followed in the same framework.
In fact, the activities of the parliament had not stopped completely, but the way of holding meetings had changed. A part of the representatives worked in person and another part, according to the considerations announced by the Supreme National Security Council, participated in a webinar. Legislative and regulatory duties were also followed in the same framework.
It is obvious that if you ask the representatives which method is better, all of them prefer to hold the meetings in public and under normal conditions. But when the conditions are not normal, a mechanism should be created according to the country's situation. This mechanism has also been formed and we hope to return to normal conditions and regular holding of public meetings as soon as possible.
Impeachments should be prioritized; The Ministry of Economy is at the top of the demands
Ambassador Arjan: Regarding the impeachments that are being discussed in the parliament, how many of these cases do you know to be true? Hasn't this surveillance tool turned into a tool of political pressure rather than being productive?
As you know, every representative has the right to question, investigate and impeach. The general goal of the parliament is to help the movement of the country and the efforts of the representatives should be in line with the coordination of the system and the growth of the country and society. Especially today, when we are in a war situation and we are facing the enemy, we should be able to have the best arrangement to run the country.
In my opinion, the impeachments that are raised should be prioritized. Today, the most important problem people are facing is the economy. When we talk to people in the fields, we see that the economic problems really put them under pressure.
Some think that the shadow of impeachment has been removed from the Ministry of Economy
Once, the Minister of Economy, Mr. Hemti, was impeached, and his impeachment resulted in a vote, and he left the position of the ministry; Although he is now in the central bank. My impression is that some people in the Ministry of Economy may think that with the impeachment of the previous minister, the shadow of impeachment has been removed from the ministry. In my opinion, such a notion is completely wrong.
In short, they are going for a land blockade / Nuclear bomb is not currently in Iran's military doctrine / America is not looking for simple concessions.
With regard to the exchange rate situation, what I consider to be strange currency manipulations, which I believe have not had an effective effect in controlling currency prices, as well as rampant inflation and the increase in the price of gold, if an impeachment is to be prioritized, in my opinion, the Ministry of Economy should be at the top.
