40 Arrested in Eqbalieh Social Security Enhancement Plan

The Deputy Police Commander of Qazvin Province reported the arrest of 40 thieves, fencers, drug smugglers, retail drug dealers, and public addicts during the implementation of a plan to clean up contaminated areas and enhance social security in the city of Eqbalieh.

The deputy police commander of Qazvin province announced the arrest of 40 thieves, moneylenders, smugglers, drug retailers and drug addicts during the implementation of the plan to clean up polluted areas and improve social security in Iqbaliye city.

According to Ambassador Arjan from Qazvin; Sergeant "Ali Asghar Jamali", the deputy police commander of Qazvin province, stated: Following the demands of the people and in line with dealing with violators and disrupters of order and public security, the plan to clean up polluted areas and improve social security was implemented in Iqbaliye city.

Referring to the achievements of this plan, he added: During this plan, which was implemented this morning on October 23, using the power and capacity of police stations, police patrol units, and the specialized police unit, officers succeeded in arresting 16 drug smugglers, keepers, and retailers, and discovered 5 kilograms of various types of drugs.

Referring to the other results of this project, Sardar Jamali said: arresting 3 thieves and 3 thieves, discovering 17 stolen motorcycles, identifying and arresting 6 people disrupting public order and security, and discovering 58 cold weapons were among the other measures taken in this operation.

Referring to the supervision of the activities of the trade unions, the deputy police chief of Qazvin province said: During the visit to the trade unions, 8 illegal and unlicensed units that were active in various fields such as digital services, papers and waste were sealed.

Sardar Jamali further announced the arrest of 12 drug addicts and added: These people were introduced to addiction treatment centers subject to Article 16 for rehabilitation.
