Another Record of Parvin in Sight; Ali Alipour Still Chasing the Persepolis Legend!

With 11 goals scored from the penalty spot, Ali Alipour, along with Ali Ansarian, is among Persepolis's record holders in the Iran Pro League in this respect.

According to "Varzesh Se", Persepolis hosted Naft Abadan at home this week and won with three goals against this team. Now, the red-faced players have a chance to win the title of the top league in the new season if they get three points in the overdue match against Khyber. But Ali Alipour, the scorer and experienced striker of Persepolis, was not in the regular lineup in this match and entered the field at the beginning of the second half instead of Igor Sergeev. This player, who was injured about a month ago, has improved himself in recent weeks and was finally included in Persepolis's list for this match.

But Mehdi Tartar did not take any risk regarding this 30-year-old attacker and we saw Ali Alipour's presence in the field in the second half. But when Tiv Bifuma was stopped in the penalty area of Naft Abadan, Persepolis got a penalty kick and Ali Alipour scored his team's second goal in the first minutes of the second half with a ground kick to the left corner. Now, Ali Alipour has scored 11 times in the history of the Premier League from the penalty spot for Persepolis, and in this respect, he is ranked first next to Ali Ansarian, the late and beloved defender of Persepolis.

Of course, eight Persepolis fanatics managed to score 11 times out of 12 penalties, but Ali Alipour has wasted four penalties in the Premier League. Missing a penalty in the match against Pikan, Machin Sazi, Naft Abadan and Khuzestan Steel can be seen in Alipur's record. Of course, this player converted important penalties, including derby, into goals, and in this regard, he has taken the first place. Let's not forget that Ali Alipour is now a short distance away from scoring his 100th goal in the history of Persepolis, and he is now the second best scorer in the history of this club. But among Alipour's missed penalties, his chip shot in the match against Makhsazi and Hamed Lak's reaction remain in the minds of the fans.

Anyway, Ali Alipour started the new season in a very good condition and by scoring four goals and sending three assists, he was named the most effective player of the Premier League. Despite being absent from a national team camp due to injury, this player will try to continue this successful process and be on the final list of the national team in the Asian Nations Cup. In the history of Persepolis club, Ali Parveen scored 20 penalties and Mojtaba Moharrami scored 19 penalties. Ali Alipour also managed to score 16 times from the spot in all competitions and by scoring four more penalties, he will reach Ali Parvin's record.
