Seraj: Strengthening Air Defense and Self-Financing Initiatives at the Defense Ministry Requires Serious Follow-Up

Tehran's MP in Parliament, referring to two expectations from the Ministry of Defense, said: The first key issue is strengthening air defense, which must be seriously pursued, and the second important point is self-financing initiatives.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Mohammad Siraj, in the second special meeting of the Islamic Council in order to hear the programs and records of Mehrdad Akhli, the proposed minister of defense and support of the armed forces, while thanking the presence and accompanying the supervisor and the deputy ministers of the Ministry of Defense and Support with the proposed minister of defense in this meeting, he called the cooperation of the IRGC and army officials with the proposed minister of defense as a sign of the unity of the armed forces and said: Mr. Akhli is a manager at the level of the revolution, he has social, organizational and personal piety, and his records in the Ministry of Defense and in the Defense Industries Organization are well demonstrated. The representative of the people of Tehran, Ray, Shemiranat, Islamshahr and Fardis in the parliament stated that the proposed minister of defense is very healthy, intelligent and focused in terms of management ethics, and wisdom is evident in his management, adding: the ethical commander is completely expert and excellent in his field, and he is also serious about research and development. Therefore, he believes in what he tells the representatives in his program statement. In addition, his history has shown that he is quite capable in dealing with corruption.

Referring to the current expectations from the Ministry of Defense, Siraj said: Two very important points in this area, one is the issue of strengthening the defense, which the proposed minister will definitely pay attention to and should be seriously persistent, and the other important point is the issue of production, which the government's performance in this matter is very weak, but we request you to seriously address the issue of production in the Ministry of Defense, which solves part of our needs and problems.
