Fars: In the first minutes of today's trading, the total index of the Tehran Stock Exchange entered the channel of 8.5 million units with a jump of more than 178,000 units and a growth of about 2.1%, setting a new record.

The total index of the Tehran Stock Exchange reached the level of 8,512,988 units with an increase of 178,964 units until 9:30 on Tuesday, October 21, 1405.

The equal weight index also increased by 42 thousand 459 units to 2 million 223 thousand 917 units, which shows that a wide part of the market symbols are accompanying the upward trend.

According to the transaction statistics, more than 243 thousand transactions with a value of about 10,870 billion Tomans and a volume of 15.1 billion shares have been registered in the Tehran Stock Exchange.

The market value of Tehran Stock Exchange has also reached about 24,662,000 billion Tomans.
