Sefir Arjan Culture and Publishing Service of Iran (Sefir Arjan), the 33rd issue of Sanat Sabz Cellulose magazine with a collection of the latest articles and articles in the field of paper and cellulose industry was published.
In the first article of this publication, Abolfazl Roghani Golpayegani, the head of the paper and cardboard producers' union, looked at the state of the cellulose sector in the first 6 months of this year, and discussed the issue of war, sanctions and economic uncertainty in this industry. In a part of this editorial, he mentioned; "Today's issue in the paper industry is not just the price of paper; the main issue is the continuity of production and maintenance of the supply chain.
If the manufacturer cannot provide the raw materials and parts he needs at the right time and at a predictable cost, even having the production capacity alone will not be enough. Therefore, policymaking in the field of paper industry should move away from a cross-sectional view, providing currency for raw materials and essential equipment, facilitating the import of items that cannot be produced domestically, speeding up customs processes, maintaining transportation routes and supporting exports, can help to continue activities in this field.
An interview with Mehdi Azimi, a specialized activist in the field of printing, is another topic of this publication. In this interview, he discussed the issue of Iranian paper. In his opinion, although the Iranian printing industry has been able to compensate for many shortcomings due to the knowledge and experience of specialized forces, but the poor supply of raw materials, especially paper and cardboard, can even affect the technical and operator power.
In this conversation, he spoke about the necessity of maintaining part of the domestic production capacity, the importance of interaction with global markets, the challenge of quality stability of paper and packaging cardboard, and also the necessity of quality stability in Iranian paper.
A report on the problems of Iran's packaging paper and cardboard industry in the specialized working group of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council can also be read on other pages of this publication. In this meeting, it was stated that 95% of the activity of this industry depends on the supply of recycled paper and cardboard, and the lack of raw materials, restrictions on the import of paper pulp, starch and chemicals, foreign exchange problems and the supply of machinery to manufacturers have faced challenges.
In this meeting, it has been proposed that Wart Samat, in cooperation with specialized organizations, organizes the situation of supply and consumption of raw materials and, in cooperation with the environment, facilitates the process of importing recycled paper and cardboard from Iraq and neighboring countries.
Other contents of this publication include the report on the annual assembly of the paper and cardboard producers union, an article about the role and duties of the specialized federations of paper and paper products in the world written by Hossein Jalali Tarshizi, the production of electricity from effluents and sludge of pulp and paper factories through anaerobic digestion by Samieh Akbari Dadamohle, and the note of Amirsaman Esfandiari, the secretary of the union, about the dialogue council between the government and the private sector in the field of paper.
