A Hebrew media announced the formation of an anti-Zionist trend in the world.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Yediot Aharanot newspaper in a report listed 121 types of actions and sanctions against the Zionist regime that are applied in 62 countries of the world.
The report continues: 121 Actions in 62 Countries Against Israel: New Database Maps Sanctions Against Israel and Proposed Actions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it was "making extensive efforts in this regard", but political sources explained: "There was a real possibility of sanctions from the European Union and the consequences would be dire." This was prevented, but it may not be the case in the future."
The Jewish People's Policy Institute (JPPI) has launched a new database that charts sanctions and restrictive measures taken against Israel around the world.
This map includes 121 actions in 62 countries, of which 93 actions are being implemented, 19 actions related to the past and 9 actions are currently proposed or under planning.
In another part of this report, however, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (the Zionist regime claims) the data contained in this report do not accurately reflect the reality of the sanctions and there are no sanctions against Israel. However, will this situation continue in this way? We cannot be sure that the world will be spared from such a situation. After some time, this result may change to the detriment of Israel."
However, according to Shoki Friedman, director general of the Jewish People's Policy Institute, the data should not be analyzed solely based on the number of sanctions, but rather the possibility of their cumulative and extensive impact on Israel's economy and its ability to maintain trade relations, investments and international supply chains should be taken into consideration.
"Anyone who thinks that the sanctions imposed on ministers or individuals in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) or the products of this region will remain within the same limits and not go beyond the green line, is wrong," he said.
Sanctions have a marginal effect, but when they are piled up, they may affect banks, companies, investors and business partners that have nothing to do with the person or entity being sanctioned. The real danger is the transition from specific sanctions to damaging the systems on which Israel's economy and security depend."
Drawing this map also makes it possible to identify the countries in which the largest number of actions have been registered.
Spain tops the list with 10 actions. Since then, the United States has had eight actions, all of which have so far been purely academic; In addition to two "historical" measures and five proposals to prevent the supply of all kinds of weapons, there have been made.
England with seven measures, Belgium with five measures and Türkiye with five measures are in the next ranks.
Friedman estimates that "the number 121 is only the starting point. The more important question is what will happen if this trend continues. Applying one sanction alone may be enough, but the existence of 121 measures in 62 countries justifies the necessity of adopting a comprehensive view.
Israel must examine this risk like any other strategic risk; It means to identify it, prepare to face it and take necessary measures to prevent its escalation.
