GTA 6 Fans Celebrate as Cyberleek Crypto Crashes Hard
GTA 6 fans are celebrating after the Cyberleek meme coin crashed hard yesterday, wiping out the exposed crypto scheme.
GTA 6 fans are celebrating after the Cyberleek coin meme went down hard yesterday, killing the revealing crypto scheme.
Cyberleek had linked various GTA 6 gameplay leaks to Cyberleek's market value, which ranged from $5 million to $25 million. The leaker also threatened to release a copy of the game if memecoin reaches a market cap of $30 million - reportedly over 200 GB in size.
Earlier this week, a number of gameplay clips were leaked after hitting market targets, including gameplay that appears to show Lucia fully nude, and more recently, the alleged leak of a "Lucia closeup 4k" video.

Cyberleek has threatened to release a new, unsanctioned GTA 6 gameplay video every day, assuming memecoin market cap goals are met, and launched another gameplay survey designed to encourage spending on memecoin.
However, Cyberleek's meme coin has fallen with a current market cap of $1.7 million, down from $7.8 million on October 11. It is now highly unlikely to reach the $30 million target, and may struggle to meet other targets Cyberleek set for further disclosures.
Of course, Cyberleek could ignore the goals and just release the gameplay anyway. But the bigger question is whether Cyberleek actually has a GTA 6 build, and if so, will it actually release it. Assuming Cyberleek has a working build, its release into the wild would be disastrous for Rockstar and parents alike. Take-Two will no doubt spark a raft of AI-based projects, jeopardizing the potential success of GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S next month.
Right now, GTA 6 fans are celebrating the fall of Cyberleek. "Anyone who puts money on this deserves to lose their money," said one. "There is a God," added another. "Whoever gave this idiot cash deserved it. What did people expect?" Another commented
Fans urged people not to spend their money on Cyberleek last week, pointing out that the leaker received cash in August and will likely do so before GTA 6's official release date, if they haven't already. An analysis of cryptocurrency transactions in late August revealed that the GTA 6 leaker earned about $270,000.
Yesterday, IGN reported on fan skepticism over the alleged leaked gameplay, which apparently showed Jason and Lucia completely naked. A previously leaked gameplay video apparently shows a tank spawning in the world, indicating that you have access to some sort of developer menu. The leaked videos, which apparently show Jason and Lucia completely naked, also show that the NPCs don't react to it at all, indicating that the effect was achieved with the dev menu or cheats and wouldn't be possible in the official version.
One theory is that Cyberleak was able to access this mode for Lucia and Jason because at least one mission will see players naked, perhaps at a nudist resort. As it stands, this is all speculation, and it's unclear if GTA 6 will feature any of the characters naked at any point — at least not officially.
Cyberleek has threatened Rockstar and parent company Take-Two with a public apology if they fail to release GTA 6 on disc - and as we've explained, memecoin's market capitalization will hit $30 million. Of course, few would believe that these GTA 6 leaks are about a campaign for physical media - they're about monetizing a crypto scam.
"This deal is nice and clean," Cyberleek's threat began. "CYBERLEEK hits 30 million markets, production is complete - full story mode, played to the end, credits and everything. Don't believe it has a full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and you'll get it. Take-Two has one way: physical discs and a public apology. They can take it any time. Or anyone can."
Cyberleek seemed to go dark after releasing a wave of GTA 6 leaks in August that prompted an investigation from Take-Two. As part of the hunt for the person or group of people responsible, the company issued subpoenas to people like Discord. But last week, Cyberleek released a 24-minute GTA 6 gameplay video that purportedly featured nude scenes, story beats, playable characters Jason and Lucia (in Jason's case, full-frontal nudity), and a first-person camera.
It's unclear how the gameplay footage, or any potential build of the game from which it was derived, escaped Rockstar's tight security restrictions. Recent developments suggest that Cyberleak remains free and on the loose in the face of potential legal action.
In August, Rockstar addressed the GTA 6 leak, describing the situation as "heartbreaking" for its development team and "unfortunate" for fans. At the time, the developer acknowledged that the intended experience for players "may now be affected by some spoilers," but reiterated the previously confirmed GTA 6 release date of November 19.
Whether the perpetrator or perpetrators are ever caught may depend on the success of Take-Two's legal team and relevant authorities in forcing social networks or crypto exchanges to release their personal information.
