The story of Nekome: Nazi Hunter revolves around the character of Vano Nastasu, a young Roma man. Nazi soldiers kill his family and this event changes the course of Vano's life forever. He, who is initially a victim of the violence of the occupying forces, gradually becomes a hunter of his enemies and steps on a dangerous path to take revenge. A group of Nazi soldiers known as Hitler's Hyenas are the main target of this personal mission.

One of the important features of this work is the focus on close combat and direct violence; An approach that sets it apart from many mainstream WWII games. Players can check the enemy's patrol route before engaging, plan for an attack and gain a more favorable position by using stealth. Of course, if detected, it is also possible to confront the enemies directly, and one-on-one fights and violent final moves are an important part of the game experience.

The atmosphere of the game is also inspired by the Grindhouse cinema; A style usually known for exaggerated violence, shocking scenes, and tense moments. Additionally, the player's decisions are important during conflicts; Because the enemies' awareness of the presence of the main character can increase and carelessness can create more difficult situations.
