Shooting at Ousta Park in Tehran: Police Arrest Two Suspects

Tehran police announced the arrest of two suspects involved in mischief and mobile phone snatching in the Nirou Havai area of Tehran.

Ambassador Arjan: Tehran police announced the arrest of two accused of mischief and mobile phone copying in Tehran Air Force.

Colonel Babak Namkashanas, head of the information center of the capital's police command, said: Regarding the cause of the shooting in Avesta Park, he informs the citizens that this shooting was carried out during the police officers' operation to arrest two accused of mischief and creating insecurity.

He said: These two defendants, who previously caused terror and terror in the Air Force neighborhood of Tehran, deprived the citizens of their comfort, in their latest action, they attacked the citizens in one of the parks of this neighborhood, injured two people with knives in the head and hands, and fled from the place.

Namakshanas said: Following this incident, officers of the 6th base of Greater Tehran Intelligence Police identified the hiding place and escape route of the accused in Jajrud area by performing technical and intelligence measures. Subsequently, the operation to arrest these people was carried out in Avesta Park.

According to the head of the capital's information center, the accused were about to flee when they saw the officers, and the officers fired aerial shots to stop them, and eventually both accused were arrested.

He said: "Additional investigations also indicate the criminal activity of these people in the field of mobile copying, and their case has been submitted to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings."
