Qalibaf's reaction to the amendment of the regulations against the financing of terrorism

Amending the executive regulation of targeted financial action against terrorism and terrorism financing is against the law.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the opinion of the Chairman of the Islamic Council regarding the approval of the Board of Ministers on the amendment of the executive regulations of targeted financial action against terrorism and financing of terrorism and its subsequent amendment was announced in a correspondence with the President No. 34762/HEB dated 20 Mehr 1405.

According to this correspondence, since the Supreme National Security Council is responsible for identifying cases related to the mentioned issue (terrorist individuals, groups, and organizations), the amendment of the aforementioned regulation (due to the survival of the government's working groups) has been found to be against the law.
