Preserving Unity and Addressing People's Demands Must Be on the Agenda

Zanjan – The representative of Zanjan and Tarom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that preserving unity, addressing the public's demands, and drawing on the capacity of all segments of society must be placed on the agenda.

According to Mehr reporter, Mustafa Taheri congratulated the people of Zanjan on Wednesday evening in Revolution Square of Zanjan on the birthday of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and Nurse's Day, referring to the political and security developments in the region, the latest status of negotiations, the conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the impact of the upcoming elections of the United States and the Zionist regime on the war process and the need to maintain unity and vigilance in the country.

Stating that the country is in one of the most complicated periods of its history, he stated: the current situation can lead to great achievements and changes in regional and international equations, but any error in decision-making may also result in heavy costs; Therefore, vigilance, national cohesion and standing on principles should be prioritized.

Iran's seven conditions for negotiations

The representative of the people of Zanjan and Tarem in the Islamic Council, referring to the negotiation process and the difference in the views of Iran and the United States on how to reach an agreement, said: The Islamic Republic of Iran has put forward a set of conditions to advance the negotiations, which include stopping the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, lifting the blockade, freeing Iran's blocked assets, lifting oil sanctions and Iran's management of the Strait of Hormuz.

Taheri added: The lifting of the sanctions imposed against Iran during the war and after possible agreements and the recognition of the corridor agreed between Iran and Oman are among the other demands raised.

Stating that the differences between the parties are not limited to the content of the proposals, he clarified that there are also important differences regarding the timing and order of the implementation of commitments. For example, in the US proposal, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is proposed before the implementation of some obligations of the other side, while Iran emphasizes on determining the status of its demands and implementing the obligations of the other side.

This member of parliament continued: The American side has also included issues related to Iran's nuclear case in its proposals; While from Iran's point of view, the main demands of the country should be determined first, and new issues should not become a tool to impose more demands.

Referring to the four main axes of the nuclear issue, including the level of inspections, the fate of enriched materials, the principle of enrichment and the status of nuclear sites and facilities, Taheri said: the other side is seeking to increase the level of access and monitoring of Iran's nuclear activities, and determining the assignment of enriched materials, including materials with 60% enrichment, limiting or stopping enrichment, and the issue of the location and mode of operation of nuclear facilities are also among the other axes of discussion.

He emphasized: Decisions about nuclear issues should be made taking into account national interests, the country's authority and strategic considerations, and the Islamic Republic of Iran should not back down from its principled positions under pressure from the other party.

In another part of his speech, the head of the Envoy Nation faction considered the internal political developments of the United States and the Zionist regime as one of the factors affecting the other side's calculations in the field of war and negotiations and said: "Electoral competitions, internal pressures and the economic and security costs of war can affect the decision to continue the conflict or move towards an agreement."

Referring to the conditions of Donald Trump, Taheri said: Any agreement with Iran should be examined from the point of view of political and economic achievements for the American government. The rising costs of war and its impact on the energy market and the lives of the American people complicate the decision whether to continue the war or reach an agreement.

He added: Even if an agreement is reached, the drop in oil prices in the world markets will not necessarily lead to an immediate reduction in fuel costs for American consumers, and it will take time to transfer the effects of the changes in the energy market to the domestic economy of this country.

Referring to the political situation of the Zionist regime, this MP also said: Benjamin Netanyahu's policies were focused on weakening the axis of resistance and achieving regional goals, but the consequences of war, internal disputes and international pressures have challenged the political conditions of this regime.

Taheri continued: Netanyahu's critics believe that even if some military achievements are achieved, heavy political and credit costs have been imposed on this regime and its position in the world's public opinion is facing problems.

He pointed out that the election results and internal political developments of the United States and the Zionist regime can affect the decision to continue or stop the war. However, the Islamic Republic of Iran must carefully monitor the field and political developments by maintaining readiness and coherence.

"Security is either for everyone or for no one"

The representative of the people of Zanjan and Tarem in the Islamic Council, emphasizing the need to review the security equations of the region, stated: It is not possible to expect the Islamic Republic of Iran to use its capacities to ensure the security and stability of others, but at the same time face sanctions, blockades and threats and be deprived of its rights and interests.

He added: The basic principle is that security should be for everyone and any action in the field of security, economy and regional relations should be done considering mutual rights and interests.

Referring to the conditions of Yemen and other countries in the region, Taheri said: one cannot besiege a country for a long time and at the same time expect other countries to use their facilities and capacities without restrictions.

The head of the Assembly of Deputies of the Envoy State stated: If restrictions and threats are applied against Iran, its consequences must also be included in the other side's calculations. Because it cannot be expected that the pressure on Iran will continue without costing the other parties.

Emphasizing the need for coordination between the country's defense policies and diplomacy, Taheri said: In a situation where the country's strategy is based on changing the other side's calculations, all sectors must move within a coherent policy framework.

He added: One cannot try to increase the costs of the other side's actions in the field on the one hand, and on the other hand, without strategic coordination, send messages that will lead to a reduction in the effectiveness of these actions from a political and diplomatic point of view.

Stating that differences of opinion about implementation methods are natural, this member of parliament noted that what is important is to maintain coherence in the principles and goals of the country so that political, diplomatic and defense capacities are used in line with national interests.

national unity; Capital passing through complex conditions

The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Envoy Nation considered national unity and cohesion to be the most important factors to overcome the current sensitive situation and said: Today, more than ever, one should be careful that differences of opinion and criticism do not lead to a divide between people and weakening of social solidarity.

He emphasized: "Maintaining unity does not mean ignoring mistakes or ignoring the necessity of criticism and demands, but a difference must be made between constructive criticism and actions that lead to polarization and weakening the cohesion of society."

Taheri added: How to deal with mistakes and disagreements also requires tact and intelligence, and the consequences of any position on the cohesion of the society and the country's ability to overcome the crisis should be evaluated.

Stating that the enemies are trying to use internal differences to create a gap between the people, he said: political currents and groups should be careful that the differences do not affect the principle of national solidarity.

The representative of the people of Zanjan and Tarem in the Islamic Council continued: There may be differences of opinion on some issues, but the preservation of the country, the Islamic Republic, and national interests should be prioritized, and any differences should not become a tool to weaken these principles.

Referring to the role of the people in maintaining the country's stability, Taheri said: the achievements of the country cannot be limited to the actions of officials or executive and military groups; Because the presence and companionship of people in different scenes plays a decisive role in overcoming crises.

He added: The presence of people in the scene can affect the enemy's calculations and prevent external pressures from leading to the desired goals of its designers.

Referring to the solidarity of the people in difficult situations, this member of parliament said: Despite the differences in views, tastes and political tendencies, the different strata of society have shown a great capacity for solidarity in defending the country and confronting external threats, and this social capital must be preserved.

Taheri clarified: People's presence should not be limited to a specific group, current or spectrum, but all sections of society with different tendencies should be seen in the framework of national interests and maintaining the country's cohesion.

Emphasizing the necessity of avoiding hasty actions, he noted: the country is at a point where today's decisions and actions can seriously affect its political, economic and security future; Therefore, patience, intelligence and paying attention to the consequences of positions are very important.

Economic reform and fight against corruption should be a priority

In the final part of his speech, the representative of the people of Zanjan and Tarem in the Islamic Council, emphasizing that passing the current security and political conditions does not mean the end of responsibilities, said: the country is still facing important issues in the field of economy, fighting corruption, and reforming inefficient structures, which must be pursued seriously.

Taheri added: Maintaining the country's achievements requires careful planning, reforming economic mechanisms, fighting corruption, and trying to improve people's living conditions, and focusing on security developments should not cause these necessities to be sidelined.

Referring to the importance of mutual trust between the people and the governing body, he said: the main capital of the country is the companionship of the people and mutual trust, and this capital should be strengthened by paying attention to public demands, trying to solve problems and avoiding divisive behaviors.

Taheri emphasized: In a situation where the country is facing complex threats and pressures, it is necessary to simultaneously focus on maintaining readiness, standing up for national interests, coordination in decisions, strengthening unity and correcting internal problems so that the country can pass this stage with sustainable achievements.
