After the Network Reported That Kash Patel Had Landed in Russia, the FBI Mocked MS NOW and Revealed He Was Actually at Liberty University in Virginia.

MS NOW corrects FBI Director Kash Patel in Russia after report

MS NOW reported earlier Wednesday that FBI Director Kash Patel was in Russia on Wednesday while in Virginia.

The FBI accused MS NOW of falsely reporting that FBI Director Kash Patel was in Russia on Wednesday when he was actually in Virginia, forcing the network to issue a correction.

MS NOW host Peter Alexander told viewers: "We want to get here about MS NOW. It's about FBI Director Kash Patel. MS NOW has learned that Patel has landed in Russia for a meeting that's going to be held there."

MS NOW then brought in Justice and Intelligence reporter Ken Dilanian to analyze the situation. Dilanian expressed concern that his FBI sources were concerned because they did not know why Patel was in Russia, and suggested that the trip would "raise a lot of eyebrows," in part because his potential host is the FSB, Russia's security service.

Trump's new press secretary, Jen Psacki, mocks him, asks if he's a "fake potential lawyer."

MS NOW host Peter Alexander told viewers that FBI Director Kash Patel was in Russia on Wednesday and was actually in Virginia.

Shortly after Ambassador Arjan's MS NOW announcement, the Liberal Network's FBI Rapid Response X account teased that Patel was actually in Virginia for a law enforcement appreciation event at Liberty University.

"MS Now sources are 'familiar' with nothing," the FBI Rapid Response account wrote.

Later that day, MS NOW corrected its gaffe on air.

“I would like to correct previous reports today. I reported that two sources told us that FBI Director Kash Patel had landed in Russia for a recently reported planned trip. We have since learned that Patel did not actually land in Russia today and remains in the United States.

But we now know that he has not already landed in Russia, as we previously reported. "The timing of any potential trip remains uncertain." He continued: "Again, we are sorry for this mistake and we are clear about when we make a mistake."

Politico reported in July that Patel had a planned trip to Russia that would include stops in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
