The secret mission of "SpaceX"

SpaceX did not provide further details during its webcast, and the mission ended just after the Falcon 9's first stage landed in the Pacific Ocean about 8.5 minutes after launch.

"SpaceX" company sent a secret mission to space for the US space force.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the private space company "SpaceX" launched a secret mission for the United States Space Force from California into Earth's orbit a few hours ago.

A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in the clear blue sky over the Central Coast of the Golden State.

Such significant launches are far from guaranteed. Vandenberg and its scenic surroundings are often shrouded in fog, usually making rocket viewing in the area an impractical proposition.

This launch was the carrier of the "USSF-481" mission, which delivered mysterious cargo to an unknown location in space.

SpaceX did not provide further details during its webcast, and the mission ended just after the Falcon 9's first stage landed in the Pacific Ocean about 8.5 minutes after launch.

Mission USSF-481 was the 28th flight of this particular booster, designated 1081.

According to SpaceX's mission statement, 16 of its previous 27 launches have been dedicated to building the Starlink broadband super-constellation in low-Earth orbit.

USSF-481 was the 114th Falcon 9 mission this year. The majority of this rocket's flights in 2026 (more than 70 percent of them) were Starlink missions.

SpaceX has also launched its Falcon Heavy and Starship rockets three times this year. The Falcon Heavy is an operational vehicle, but the fully reusable starship remains in the test flight phase. The rocket reached Earth orbit for the first time on its last launch on September 28.
