Fourth National Walnut Festival to Be Held in Kelar City

The secretary of the Fourth National Walnut Festival of Kelar announced that this prestigious national event, featuring lively and diverse programs, will be held alongside the 23rd of Mehr at Laleh Coastal Park in Kelar.

Ardabil - A member of the Islamic Council of Kalor city announced the holding of the national walnut festival with happy and diverse programs, at the same time as the 22nd of October at Laleh Kalor beach park.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Hassan Shahsawari, he said: The fourth national walnut festival will be held in Kalor city with the aim of creating social excitement and also introducing the unique tourism, cultural and agricultural capacities of Shahrood region.

Referring to the special place of this event in the country's tourism calendar, Shaheswari stated: It is a matter of pride that this festival has been registered as a "national tourism event" by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in 1403, with follow-ups, which is a proof of the importance and high potential of Kalor region.

The member of the Kalor Islamic Council added: "The headquarters of the festival has been formed and fortunately, with the close cooperation and solidarity of the municipality and the Islamic Council of Kalor, Shahrood District, and the general departments of "Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts", "Sports and Youth" and "Agricultural Jihad" of Ardabil province, the stage for the magnificent event has been provided.

Regarding the details of the planned programs, he said: On the sidelines of this festival, 25 booths will be opened to offer products, handicrafts and introduce the capabilities of the region. Also, one of the attractive and enthusiastic parts of this course will be the holding of native and local games competitions with the participation of 16 teams, which promises a lively atmosphere for dear residents and tourists.

In the end, the secretary of the 4th National Kalor Walnut Festival invited the discerning public of Ardabil province, travelers and those interested in nature and authentic Iranian culture to attend this event and reminded: The time of the festival will be on Thursday, October 23, from 14:00 to 17:00 at Laleh Kalor Beach Park, and we hope that with the warm presence of citizens and tourists, we will take an effective step towards the promotion and introduction of this green area.

He said that people from Gilan, Zanjan, Ardabil, East Azarbaijan, Tehran and Alborz provinces will participate in this festival.
