Ghalibaf's Message on the Assassination of a Basij Sisters Commander: Perpetrators of This Crime Will Be Held Accountable Before Law and Justice

Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Stresses: The Pure Blood of Martyr Afsaneh Aghila, Like the Blood of Other Martyrs of This Land, Testifies to the Iranian Nation's Firm Resolve in Defending the Country's Security, Dignity and Independence.

The Speaker of the Islamic Council emphasized: The pure blood of Shahidah Afshana Aqila, like the blood of other martyrs of this land, is a testimony to the steadfast determination of the Iranian nation to defend the security, dignity and independence of the country.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council issued a message following the assassination of Shahida Afshana Aqila and emphasized: Once again the ugly face of terrorism and hostility to the security and peace of the Iranian people has been revealed.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, the text of this message is as follows:

"The oppressed martyrdom of Shahideh Afsana Aqila, commander of the Basij Sisters of Mehrestan city, at the hands of criminal terrorists who opened their weapons against a lady who defends security and serves the people by invading the privacy of her home and family, once again revealed the ugly face of terrorism and hostility to the security and peace of the people of Iran.

The pure blood of Shahidah Afshana Aqila, like the blood of other martyrs of this land, is a testimony to the steadfast determination of the Iranian nation to defend the security, dignity and independence of the country. I am confident that the path of this selfless lady will continue with the will of the nation and the efforts of the children of this land and the perpetrators of this crime will be held accountable before the law and justice.

While congratulating and condoling the honorable martyrdom of this faithful and selfless lady in the presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the honorable family of this martyr and the noble and zealous people of Sistan and Baluchistan, I pray to the Almighty God for that martyr and the highest rank and patience and reward for the survivors.
