The United States has rejected Ukraine's request for concessions in exchange for stopping attacks on Russian refineries.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the New York Times newspaper reported that American negotiators told Ukrainian representatives that Washington would not give concessions to Kiev in exchange for stopping attacks on Russian oil refineries.

Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, American negotiators during the talks in Miami on Friday, in response to a question from a Ukrainian representative about the points received by Kyiv if the attacks stop, emphasized that Washington has already taken many measures to support Ukraine and should not give any more points in exchange for stopping these attacks.

According to the New York Times, some attendees at the meeting took the statements of Wittkoff and Kushner as an indirect threat. US negotiators also pointed to Washington's intelligence assistance as vital to Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, also announced on October 13 (today) that Kiev did not receive any information from the United States about the firing of Russian missiles last night.
