"I work so hard every day. To be the best person, the best mother, the best wife," she apparently told ED before expressing her regrets.

Investigators found a large kitchen knife on the bathroom floor and a smaller knife in the bathroom sink, according to investigators. Both had blue-green handles, and resort staff told police they were not the type of knives kept in the home, the affidavit said.

"The investigation is ongoing and we are gathering more evidence to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this horrific situation," Mancuso wrote in a statement.

He thanked township officers, Pennsylvania State Police coroner's investigators and the county coroner's office for their work, describing the room as a "sophisticated double homicide scene."

Mancuso emphasized that Harrison is presumed innocent and that prosecutors must prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Police described the deaths as an isolated domestic tragedy and said there was no threat to the community.
