No appeal for Viny/Official: Vinicius' heavy ban confirmed

The Appeals Committee of the Spanish Football Federation confirmed the 4-session suspension of Vinicius Jr. by completely rejecting Real Madrid's appeal.

According to "Varesh Se", this 25-year-old Brazilian star had faced this heavy fine for pulling Nathan Saliba's hair in the match against Villarreal and strongly protesting the match referee. Real Madrid, who wanted to cancel or reduce this ban, will now take the case to the Spanish Court of Arbitration for Sport.

With the approval of this verdict, Vinicius will miss the important La Liga matches against Sevilla, Barcelona, Racing Santander and Valencia and will not be able to accompany his team in the league until December. In its defense bill, the club had tried to reduce the penalty for hair pulling to 1 session and consider his protests against Diaz de Mera only worthy of a yellow card, but the appeals committee rejected all these reasons.

The appeals committee emphasized that the player's foul occurred outside the direct flow of the game and the penalty of at least 2 sessions is completely legal. Regarding the objections, it was also mentioned that although the referee could not hear the exact words of the player, his tone, behavior and aggressive movements were clearly evident and it is the responsibility of the referee to determine the penalty.

Jose Mourinho does not have the possibility to use his Brazilian star in the upcoming matches, especially El Clasico. Real Madrid's only hope is to issue a temporary order or reduce the decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport so that Vinicius can return to the field before the match against Celta Vigo on December 2.
