"Breaking Bad" actor RJ Mitte died at the age of 34.

According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Variety, RJ Mitte, who played the role of Walter White Jr. in the series "Breaking Bad", passed away at the age of 34.

Mitte played the son of the characters played by Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn. In this Vince Gilligan drama, considered one of the greatest television series of all time, Mitte's character had cerebral palsy, while he himself actually had the disease. His interesting performance led to the spread of knowledge and awareness of this disease and during his acting career, he became one of the defenders of the presence of disabled people in Hollywood.

Mithe's representative said in a statement: "With deep regret, we offer our condolences on the tragic death of the popular actor, philanthropist and passionate advocate of the rights of the disabled, RJ Mithe." Inspired by his personal experience of living with cerebral palsy, Mitte brought authenticity to the role and created a platform for disability awareness.

His representative also confirmed that he died by suicide. Meanwhile, 8 days ago at the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, he appeared for the last time with Luis Moncada, another star of the "Breaking Bad" series.

Mitte, who served as an ambassador for Children with Cerebral Palsy and created a charitable foundation called the Mitte Foundation, which supports various humanitarian efforts, was actively promoting his new film Talking to Strangers before his death and appeared on podcasts just a few days ago.

Mitte, who has been in front of the camera since 2006, also played Master Mind in the Netflix superhero series Guardians of Justice. "Reminder" produced in 2017 and "Oak Room" produced in 2020 are among his other works. He also played the same role in the series "Change at Birth". He had several projects in pre-production and production stages.

Born in Mississippi, the actor suffered brain damage at birth and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 3 years old.

Following the news of his death, several of his co-stars, including "Breaking Bad" stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Dean Norris, and "Switched at Birth" stars Marlee Matlin and Leah Thompson, paid tribute to him.

Cranston, who played Mayte's father, praised his determination, writing, "He never -- never -- let the challenge [cerebral palsy] be an excuse for anything in his life."
