Alborzi: Jan-Fedayan Alborzi Step Up to Help Orphans

Karaj – The director-general of Alborz's Relief Committee said that, in partnership with Jan-Fedayan Alborzi, a program is underway to support roughly 10,000 orphaned and unsupervised children in the province, aimed at covering their medical and educational needs.

According to Mehr reporter, Reza Al-Barzi, Director General of the Relief Committee of Imam Khomeini (RA) of Alborz Province, in the press conference "Thank you for your presence" with the presence of Secretary General Jan Fadayan Al-Barzi, he considered the support of orphans and abused children to be one of the priorities of the relief committee and stated: About 10 thousand orphans and abused children in Alborz Province are covered by this organization and despite receiving pensions, they have extensive needs that need more participation from benefactors and people.

Referring to the academic, sports and skill capacities of these children, he added: some of these children and teenagers are struggling with illness, and some others have outstanding academic or sports talents that, if given proper support, can bring their abilities to the flourishing stage.

The director general of the Alborz Relief Committee stated that the support of the covered children should not be limited to the payment of pensions, and continued: Helping to treat sick children, supporting talented students and providing skills training for teenagers can change their life path and provide the basis for their self-sufficiency and economic independence.

Al Barazi emphasized: The children under the support of the Relief Committee are part of the human capital of the country and the province, and if they are given the right opportunity for education, treatment and skill acquisition, they can play an effective role in the society in the future.

Referring to the role of the people in the activities of this institution, he said: the relief committee loses its true meaning without the participation of the people; Because this collection was formed with the people's eyes and an important part of its services is carried out with the help of benefactors, orphans' supporters and charity centers.

The growth of public assistance is not proportional to the needs of the deprived

The General Director of the Relief Committee of Alborz Province expressed his gratitude for the support of the benefactors and said: Despite the current economic conditions, the amount of people's participation and aid has continued to grow, but the scope of the needs of the deprived has increased at a faster rate and the available resources are not responding to all needs.

He stated that there are opportunities for benefactors to participate in various fields, and added: supporting women heads of households, patients, the elderly, and students is one of the fields that people can participate in according to their financial ability.

Al-Barazi referred to the project of direct support for orphaned and abused children as an effective measure to expand people's participation and said: It has been suggested that the capacity of the Alborz Janfadayan complex should be connected to the area of charity and support for the deprived so that this social capacity can be used to solve part of the problems of needy families.

The priority of the Shkarane plan is to attend to the underprivileged and underprivileged children

Referring to the planning for the implementation of this plan, he stated: In the first step, support for orphaned and abused children will be followed by prioritizing the aid committee, and children who have more medical needs, gifted students, and children who have less number of supporters will be prioritized.

Director General of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (RA) Alborz added: The status of the families, the number of children under support and the extent of their benefit from the help of benefactors are taken into consideration in this prioritization so that people's resources reach the needy in a more targeted way.

Stating that participation in this project will be proportional to people's financial capacity, Al-Barazi said: People can contribute to this good work with different amounts, and there is no specific and uniform amount for participation.

He explained about the financial mechanism of this plan: the supporter's contributions will be directly deposited into the account of the orphan or abused child and will not be entered into the account of the relief committee.

Alborz Relief Committee Director General continued: The necessary infrastructure to support these accounts is available in the Relief Committee and supporters can receive the financial report of their donations. In such a way that the amount of payments and the way of supporting the covered children can be tracked for them.

Emphasizing the necessity of transparency in the implementation of the plan, Al-Barazi suggested: next year and at the same time as the anniversary of the beginning of this program, a report on the results of public support should be presented in order to determine how much the collected resources have covered medical and educational expenses and what problems have been solved by needy families.

He expressed his hope that with the support of people, benefactors and community groups, this plan can solve part of the needs of the orphaned and abused children of the province and provide more opportunities for their talents to flourish.

In another part of his speech, the Director General of the Relief Committee of Alborz province expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the community of 110,000 martyrs of Alborz, and considered people's participation in social and cultural programs as a valuable capacity to expand charitable activities.

Referring to the proposal of Secretary General Jan Fedayan Alborz to link the capacity of this complex with the support programs of the Relief Committee, Al Barazi said: If this social capacity is placed alongside charitable activities, more extensive measures can be taken to support the disadvantaged and solve the problems of needy families.

In the end, he emphasized the necessity of the precise and transparent implementation of the plan to support orphans and abused children, and noted that: the aid committee tries to use the available capacities to properly deliver public aid to the target community and provide the necessary reports to the supporters.

It is worth mentioning that, to participate in the campaign "Grateful for your presence" and support orphans and abused children, Albarzi martyrs can register by referring to the Albarzi martyrs' presence system and publish their content in this campaign.
